What a wonderful article. As I read, I wished this would be sent to our administration in the US, who seems to know or ignore the history of the Jewish people. When first reading the article, I couldn't help but think how my government has all but forgotten what happened on October 7th, and instead, reiterates its concern over the "poor" Palestinian women and children. Jew hating and Jew envy has always been evident by the Arabs and anti-Semites throughout the world. When the Arabs have seen what Israel was and has become, it must grate on their soulless bodies and minds. Hence, they do what they do best, destroy what has been built. One hundred years later and their M.O. has not changed. When Liora speaks about the changes needed, she seems to have forgotten that Israel has tried peace time and time again, that Israel was involved in "defensive" wars which didn't work because the enemy initiated them. Re-education will take generations to wipe out the Jew hatred indoctrination that Arab children have been taught. While I'm sure many people would like to see peace in the world and peace between Israel and the Arabs, as I certainly would, I am realistic to know that this will not happen. Hate, power, and envy take a front seat to peaceful existence. Until we can rid human beings of those, we will only enjoy moments of oeaceful existence.

Jews build and create, Arab/muslims destroy and kill. The Arab/muslims always have been and always will be savages.

Great article, weaving the past with the present, reminding us that the massacre of Jews by Gazans on October 7 has a long history of Arab massacres of Jews and underlines why Israel must take over Gaza, Judea and Samaria, strictly control the Muslim Arabs who live there until they leave, and take out Hizbollah, bombing Beirut into oblivion if need be. Whatever international clamour may emerge can be ignored. Tell them the stories in this article. Simple as that.

I have the opposite reaction. The Israelis tried peace and it didn't work for them, so it's time for all-out war and victory and the removal of the Arab/muslim population of Gaza and Judea and Samaria to Arab nations. I don't see how anyone in Israel can still be a peace activist living adjacent to nazis.

"Liora Eilon says she has always been a peace activist and will continue to be a peace activist. Asked how does she see the Israeli-Palestinian conflict get resolved, she answered: “Changing governments on both sides. Education, many years of education that will make people realize that we tried war and it didn’t work for us, so it’s now time to try something else.”

This was amazing! The dreadful violence and war that Isreal has suffered! The strength and determination that you have, is awe inspiring. Israel is an example of everything that is good! I will always stand with you.
