Amazing article! If only you could turn it into some catchy TikTok videos for the useful idiots out there!

Lucy, your writing style is wonderfully inviting. I enjoyed your essay very much and hope you do more in the future.

Unfortunately, at this point, too many people are either too lazy or too antisemitic to listen to the facts. They are, what has been coined, the "useful idiots" and I dont think logic or facts will make the slightest difference.

I believe that we should focus our energy on waking up the silent majority and showing them how our enemy is their enemy. We have made this a Palestinian-Israeli problem or an Arab/Muslim Jew problem when, in fact, it is a war between radical Islamists and the West. Israel is the enemy's first stop, and we are the canary in the coal mines. This should be our message, and this should be our strategy.

Our failure in the propaganda war is that we are focusing on the wrong people.

Keep up the good fight Lucy,

papa j

The message of this piece will positively influence the doubters and those who assume they can trust mainstream media (mm) for a balanced view. One of the biggest lessons since 10.7 is just how wrong the mm can get it day in and day out—ignoring the unprecedented measures Israel employs to minimize uninvolved civilian casualties, while focusing almost solely on inflated Arab death counts in Gaza, unfounded tales of famine, etc., as well as ignoring Hamas being responsible for all of it. The mm is culpable and essentially responsible for fueling antisemitism. Otherwise good, educated, normal people can believe atrocious lies if they’ve grown up on a steady diet of anti-Israel/Jew propaganda. They’re not bad or evil necessarily, they just think they’re right. We have to educate them and prove them wrong.

Excellent! And I love the idea of the TikTok videos that someone posted, because “useful idiots” don’t read ( anything).

Everything you’ve said here needs to be made visual. So at least if they don’t read they can still listen.

hamas/gazans slaughtered 1200 Israelis on October 7th and promised to make each day October 7th for Israel. Had they succeeded there would have been 438,000 dead Israelis in one year, a real genocide. But Israel defended itself and prevented this catastophe. In 1.5 years of fighting, there is not one day where Israel killed 1200 gazans in one day. There is not one day where Israel killed half that amount, 600 gazans, in one day. With fighter jets, attack helicopters, drones, tanks, the availability of massive artillery bombardments from the land and sea, Israel could kill many times 1200 in one day. But they don't, because there is no genocide in gaza, nor is there any attempt at genocide. If anything, despite hamas tactics of using civilians as shields and civilian locations as military sites, Israel tries to minimize civilian casualties. Every dead gazan is the fault of hamas, pij, and other entities that want to see all the Jews in Israel dead, and in the world as well.

So well written! I wish I could force ppl to read it. I was just watching YouTubers talking about how the hostages are exactly the same as the Palestinian prisoners, since they’re mostly women and children being held for no reason. They really seemed to believe that, including the thousands of comments. I honestly don’t even know how to deal with ppl like that.

First Amnesty International changed the definition of "apartheid" to try to shoehorn Israel into the word, now Ireland wants to do the same with "genocide," to make it stick to Israel. These Zionophobic entities realize the power of buzzwords. At the other end of the spectrum are Jew-haters who desperately avoid using "terror," unless they're accusing Israel. Instead, they mislabel jihadist terror as "resistance." The common thread is trying to hijack language to bend lies to the haters' narrative.

Rare to read a piece on the world after-October 7 that I can nod my head to and not feel sick. Thank you for your clarity.

Unfortunately, we seem to be in a post-truth world. Facts are details that evoleve to a choice of narratives. Which is a weasly way of saying, believe lies. Anyone ever hear of a genocide where the population has increased? When Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005 their population was 1.3 million. It is now roughly 2.1 million, depending on the source. (HAmas, UN, etc?) by no definition is that a genocide.

Everyone should read this research paper on the origins of using the word genocide against the Jews. It goes way back in history.

Yes, Yes, Yes, vimru: AMEN.

The problem is that Jews value education and reason. Savage Islamist scum don't.

Great article, yes, and I hope it sways a single mind.

But the only way to win this war is to carpet bomb Gaza until it makes Dresden 1945 look like a single candle in a bright room.

Excellent essay. I am a simple Nan - Right or wrong, black or white, good or bad - life should be simple. As far as I am concerned people who are pro Palestine are pro Hamas and therefore accomplices to the rape and rampage of Oct 7 and now the death of thousands. Pro Palestine is soooo very simple - it means that anyone saying those words believes that Israel has no right to exist. Their words and actions of support mean "All will be fine when the Jews leave." Damn those pesky Jews - they just won't go away. Yeah right. No sane person would want to live in a world with no Israel. The Islamists have Europe and Britain - so where to next? So sad to say this - but Oct 7 should have happened on USA soil. What would have happened then? 1200 butchered represents 0.017% of Israel population = to 56,667 Americans. 251 hostages = 0.0035% or 11,853 peole. Does this matter? Yes to you and me - to them NO - Israel cannot exist. Why? Why would you want a tiny, tiny nation, 0,09% of the entire world population not to live in peace? I am truly have no freaking clue. Am Yisrael Chai
