The core of the problem with the West is always the same ...... we think and believe that all people in the world want the same things. We want to live in peace, raise and educate our kids and contribute to our society. We apply these standards universally with no exception. Unfortunately, there is an exception and the exception are Islamists. We have a culture of life, of wanting to live in peace with others. There culture is just the opposite. Theirs is a culture of hate and a culture of death. It is being played out in flashpoints all over the world, not just in Gaza. Polling has shown that 70-80% of so called "innocent Palestinians" agree with what Hamas did on Oct 7th. Think about it .... they agreed with the burning of live babies, they agreed with the raping of mothers and daughters in front of their families, they agreed with the kicking and playing soccer with decapitated heads and the list of atrocities goes on and on. Remember that term "innocent palestinians" .... a bogus lie that we believed because we think all cultures are the same. I still see that term lying term being used. Who could want a live innocent baby to be burnt alive? Israelis believed that for a very long time too about "innocent Palestinians" .... who can remember how large the Peace Now movement was in Israel? We gave back Gaza for the same reason. We could not believe that the majority of Palestinians would rather kill us than just live in peace. Israel is not fighting a war for itself, it is fighting a war for the free world. It is fighting for Australia. The majority of the Gazans that they are foolishly taking in only want to see the destruction of their free society. I dont know what it will take for the world to wake up. You would think after ISIS and Al Qaeda and all the others, we would realize that by now. You would think just by looking at what is going on in Europe that Australia would wake up. Until we do, we will be slowly destroying the very fibre that is the foundation of our wonderful way of life. We must keep telling the world, that this is very much their war too. papa j

Well said! Those poor peaceniks living in the kibbutzim near Gazas border ironically got the worst of it by Gazans who came to work there and deceived some of them into thinking they were their friends, then giving the layout to the killers. How could anyone like that be trusted ever again?

Michal, they can never be trusted again until the curriculum in the schools are changed and they dont teach Jew hatred. Will that ever happen? Nothing will happen if Hamas is not eradicated and if the PA has the same leaders. I sent you an invite to my group, hope you can join. be well and keep up the good fight. papa j

What an exceptional overview of the problem growing in western countries because of the gullibility of people believing there can be peace with Hamas and the Palestinians. Ideally, we'd all love to have peace with one another, but the reality is, it is very unlikely to happen with a population that has been heavily indoctrinated. It will take decades to reprogram the young, but Israel and the world doesn't have the luxury of time. As awful as it would be, I believe something of devastating value would have to happen in one of the western countries to give them a wake-up call. I certainly don't want that, but it may be the only thing that would bring the west out of its stupor.

In total agreement with you. Frankly, I am surprised that nothing of devastating value hasn't happened yet. Of course, one would have thought that Oct 7th was devastating enuf to wake up the world but I guess, as is always the case, it only happened to the Jews. Doenst count, right? Have a good one Diane and keep up the good fight. papa j. BTW, invited you to join my group but never heard back from you?

The single-one identity of Israelis: victimhood. First, learn some fact, second, why not include the hate that is taught in Jewisch school and societies. The latter not on Islamists but on Arab people.

Expand full comment

Ah yes, the old tropes. Then we make the moral equivalence with the hate being taught in schools. I had to laugh when you said victimhood ..... no group does it better than the Palestinians for the past 75 years. The Jewish refugees leaving Muslim countries never claimed victimhood. What they did do is take a pile of sand and turn it into a wonderful beautiful country. But first, they cured malaria. Then the equivalence of teaching hate in schools ..... see any Israeli children playing with toy soldiers killing palestinians? Of course not! But you know all this, Commandant, you just never let the facts interfere with your Jew hatred. Pathetic, truly pathetic! and also a joke! papa j

Yes they are. I’m from Australia and trust me a lot of us don’t agree with it. But we have a weak, lefty government who is pandering to the Muslim vote.

I wonder if the government of Australia has ever taken a second to ponder why it is that NO Arab country in the Middle East will take in the Palestinians.

Understanding that Islamists seek to destroy Israel, threaten Jews globally, and act to dismantle western civilization is not Islamaphobia—it is Islam awareness.

I have on occasion mentioned "following the money" ... it may be crass, but it may be the truth!

On the other hand, if Western countries want to take enough of them in, it could be Israel's solution! At which point it's time to go to Israel where there will be more space to live!

Agree, 100%. I am an Australian, don’t really like Dutton, but he spoke sense when he said that. This country will go to the 💩 very soon if leaders continue to pander for votes, and continue to deny some very hard truths.

Bango! Bingo! Right on the money. Start to finish. Regarding your central statement about the current government i.e. Political Party in the ruling position "It cannot be trusted". Yep! Just for your entertainment I refer to the main players of this currently ruling Party thus: "Elbow, Pongo, and Tony Burka of Our Lady of Lakemba are The Triumvirate of Evil. They are criminals." For those not from Australia "Let me say this about that" (a regular quip from one of our previous several other Prime Ministers). Whom I call Elbow is the current Prime Minister Albanese, his Foreign Minister from the sewer of Hell is Ms Wong ie Pongo, and last and least in so many ways is the Representative from the area of Lakemba (a suburb of Sydney) where a certain type of singular insular group have a voting majority i.e. influence over their elected Representative. Anyways WELL DONE with your summary and details and phrasing etc.

You malign Dutton on the one hand but happy to align with his views on gazan asylum. You should remove your description of Dutton because it is untrue. We don’t always agree 100% with any politician but that does not make them “nasty”. Dutton speaks many truths and for this his popularity has increased. The starting point is not any “racist” comment made by Dutton or any other person having an opposing view of gazan asylum, the starting point is that the people to whom you seek to give asylum are fundamentally racist. They do not “say” racist commentary but rather they “do” racist acts. This has been documented worldwide. People opposing immigration are fearful of the racist acts that have and continue to be perpetrated by Muslim gangs. How can any person be called racist when it is a reaction to oppose those perpetrating racism in the first instance. Therefore, Albo, Wong and Burke support racism in their endeavours of vote seeking and feathering their own nests.

Agree. Dutton is not a nasty right wing politician by any means.

Australia would be well advised to take a lesson from Paraguay's Palestinian experience! Up to the 80's the Eastern border city with Brazil, Ciudad del Este had a vibrant Jewish business community, until in the 90's the government decided to let in the Palestinians. In NO time honest businesses were driven out and replaced by contraband criminal gangs, living off contraband and extortion and all sorts of criminal activities, until virtually no honest businesses were left and the Jews were driven out! Similarly with Saltos del Guaira and Pedro Juan Caballero, as well as Capitan Bado.

Palestinians are almost a lost cause in terms of deprogramming, and this is due to the early childhood experiences and discourses they absorb, even pre-school.

It is known in the socio-psychology of infants that exposure at early infant progression is assimilated in the infant's mind and if consistently maintained will reinforce socio-cultural norms and values in that social environment, particularly when they are developed through the social and political, as Palestinian society is in Gazza.

Deprogramming is a lottery and as the academic lit suggests is a gamble no society should make without quarantining any possible carnage to said society.

Deprogramming is not an exact science and in the long term, the society that has adopted the Palestinian can never be sure they will not activate.

Caveat emptor.

How about the Judaist problem? There is a large and growing part of Jewish Israeli society that believes in Jihad against the Arabs, in which women have to cover up and shut up, in which violence is justified bc of Gods will, in which the Rabbi’s word trumps the state’s or the commanding officer in IDF. That group among Jewish people is approximately as large as in Palestinian society. Should we by these facts scapegoat all Jewish people like you’re doing with Palestinians?
