Sometimes we don't take stupid people seriously, they're uninformed, how much damage can they do? My understanding is a prof and a student decided to inject a few laughers into the student gossip mill, the idea was so absurd that nobody could believe it, but it worked. They said I had in class assaulted a student, ripped off his shirt and was escorted off by police. Now it's widely believed. No video, no witnesses, no victim, no argument that could be exaggerated, no police report, no ripped shirt, but the admin still talks about it - it insults me so they want to make sure it's out there. Did anyone call the police? Of course not, they knew it was a lie.
