All those countries have voted against the Jewish state and voted for the group that wants to annihilate the Jews. As I see it.

Why assume "progressives" actually cherish these things? What they really are, are marxists. The fact that they aim to destroy the only Mideast nation that actually provides these freedoms and human rights and supports the savages who would implement sharia law and throw gays off of rooftops and treat women as chattel tells us all we need to know about so-called "progressives" and their evil intentions.

"Do “progressive” Westerners who cherish equality, individual freedoms, and LGBTQ+ rights understand that Islamic fundamentalists reject Arab nationalism, Western culture, democracy, and human rights"?

Thank you. I would have preferred 3 sentences to have been adjusted. For example: "While many Western college students are chanting “Free...". To be more specific that 'a few thousand or less than 1% of Western college students are chanting'. Rather than "many". Also the sentence about "honoring" terrorists by providing for their families - the end phrase makes the sentence seem like providing or supporting families is a good thing. Also I think it is a great error by those like yourself of 'the good concerns' to keep using the 'pales.' flags photos as the images the head and within articles, essays, video promotion. It may be an algorithm trick but as you have 50 years writing experience then you may recall that Marshall McLuhan taught us all "the medium is the message". Not to mention the adage 'a picture is worth a 1000 words'. In other words a 1000 word essay/article finely written is superseded by a single heinous photo. As recent history and current beginning phases of this battle zone in much larger unfolding global war shows us - the highly intelligent pack are the most easily gullible. Mainly because they worship their own well thought out communication as their very own private "Golden Calf". Wisdom is not an automatic prize for intelligence. How do I know those things? As another olde saying goes, i.e. went, vanished "the bible tells me so". Of course I far prefer Torah rather than 'bible'. And with that I prefer Tanach, Talmud, Mishnah, Pirkot Avot, etc than 'the bible' which usually refers to the perverted 2 volume thing ('the bible').

The international community doesn't care about resolving the crisis nor is it focused on peace. The international community wants Israel destroyed.

..................................................................................................................................................................................................................

"The international community, in its rush to resolve the current crisis, will be creating a new one if it encourages the Palestinians to pursue a lawless state without civil boundaries".

"The international community has been so focused on the potential for Middle East peace that it has given the Palestinian Authority a pass on its consistent, major violations of human rights and basic freedoms".

About the de-radicalization of the Palestinians... It's quite amazing how the media and UN affiliated organisations seem to ignore PMW (Palestine Media Watch) who's been supplying material and adressed multiple demands to handle this problem. PMW has been created in 1996 !

Without de-radicalization there's no way to peace in this hostile region.

Many politicians — some even in Israel — refer to the Oslo Accords as a basis for a "Palestinian" state. In a continuation of Imperial practice, many Western powers expect it to be created from all the territories beyond the Armistice Line of '67, that is, from lands not theirs to give away.

However, if one reads the terms and conditions of the Oslo Accords, one quickly realizes that the actions of the PA as well as its political rivals Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, et. al., supported by their political goals and means to achieve those goals as made explicit in their Charters represent what in law is called a "Material Breach of Contract." In this situation, there is such a violation of the fundamental terms of the contract that it cannot be fulfilled, thus rendering it null and void. For example, if a used car dealer writes up a contract with a customer to sell a particular car for $1,000, but then sells that cr to someone else, the dealer has made the contract impossible to fulfill.

Another problem infecting the issue is the popular use of the term "The West Bank." In 1950, the Jordanians renamed Judea and Samaria "The West Bank" to erase any and all connection Jews had with the territory. The West vigorously embraced this rebranding. Rather than fighting such a blatant act of historical revisionism, many Jews both in the Diaspora as well as in Israel accepted it without complaint let alone outrage. Here we have proof positive that the day someone describes himself the way his enemy describes him is the day he loses the battle. It prepares for the next and final step: the day he describe his enemy the way his enemy describes himself is the day he lose the war.

The fact that a Palestinian state would not be democratic is just about its only redeeming feature, as roughly 75% of Palestinians polled, by Palestinian polling groups, approve of the Oct 7 atrocities.

Why would you want that kind of electorate choosing its leaders? Better a Western appointed ruler who will keep a lid on things. And as long as he's not Jewish, the UN and Amnesty International won't bother him at all.
