We don't demand equal numbers of Laotian ballet dancers or left-handed plumbers, but many folks single out Jews for being too represented in certain fields. It makes no sense.
I have no quarrel with the main thesis. But “Jews will not replace us” speaks to something entirely different and darker: that Jews are covertly plotting to replace White Americans, not with themselves, but with 3rd world immigrants beholden to Democrats. And that the Democrats are tools of the Jews to undermine the social structure of the nation and squeeze Whites.
The points you made about HIAS, the ADL and the notion that the migrants coming in our “just like our ancestors” are really important. And the people who don’t know Jews in real life think we’re all supporters of HIAS, the ADl, Chuck Schumer, Jerry Nadler, Jamie Raskin, and Adam Schiff.
There are also Christian churches and organizations which help illegal aliens and support open borders including the Vatican. But the far-right blames Jews. It's just another justification for their pre-existing antisemitism.
While not mentioning the word, this fine essay alludes to one of the most pernicious, misused concepts which “Progressive” doctrine has forced upon us: “Equity.” (The “E” in “DEI.”) And Jews, along with other ethnic groups which are “over represented” in certain occupations, fields, businesses, etc., are among the most-victimized by this often-stealth attack on meritocracy. I’m gratified that there has finally been some effective backlash against this toxic, highly discriminatory practice.
Excellence and merit are anathema to lefties. Historically, as I understand it, Jews were kept out of many jobs over the centuries so they became physicians, lawyers, and financial/banker types to combat this discrimination and became vital parts of these fields. Due to the irrationality of anti-semitism Jews FOUND A WAY to defeat this prejudice and the world is better off for that despite the bigots, in my opinion.
Equal opportunity has sometimes been replaced by equal representation. A lack of opportunity may show up in representation, but representation doesn't always show a lack of equal opportunity. Jews thrive historically with equal opportunity, but are hated for their over representation of great achievements, but Jews don't need equal representation - just the opportunity. Democracy is a form of government, the least worse of all, which may involve “ equal “ or “ proportionate representation”, but just about anywhere else, this “ proportional ” requirement seems to be a false category. How “ equally represented” is genius? How many Mozarts, Shakeapeares, Da Vincis, Newtons? You get my drift. It will always be a tiny group. The only thing you could do about the “equal representation” of genius is level the field by eliminating those qualified as geniuses. Or you can decide that a Gaussian curve is fraudulent, because at its “ fat tails” some extraordinary events occur that actually can make the most difference in the world, and that fact just doesn’t feel right. “The Black Swan” by Nassim Taleb was one of my favourite reads years ago. I often return to it. Its idea is “the extreme impact of rare and unpredictable outlier events—and the human tendency to find simplistic explanations for these events, retrospectively”. “ Fat tails”, “Gaussian curves” , geniuses and the excellent performance of any minority should be illegal, shouldn’t they, since they are “unfair”.

canard is tied to the unusualness or exceptional aspects of Jewish performance, it is because the only true reason for the gripe is an attempt to level the field so that merit, such as Jewish accomplishment, doesn’t get in the way. And at the end of the day, or at the bottom of the pit, perhaps Jew-hatred and envy precede the entire issue, to begin with. If the Jew-haters and enviers only knew that the more they mortify the Jews, the stronger the Jews become. It has to do with the “unequal” allocation of hardship on the peoples of the Earth. Pure anthropology.

Childhood biases are the hardest to eradicate because they are so deeply absorbed when, as children, we have defense against them.
