Absolutely right! I am a Christian Zionist. What is happening throughout the West is terrifying. The weak leaders are repulsive and in the UK our leader is despised. The Church of England has been taken over by progressives and sympathy for Islam. They are so blind to history and the lessons it teaches us. Personally I can’t recognise the world around me. Israel will always survive but I agree that so many Diaspora Jews do hide their identity. They need to stand with Israel. Israel is not affected by this immoral plague and that is your strength.

Dana Ramos's avatar

at some point, when more Christians fully realize what is truly happening (too many are still asleep or uninformed), they, too, will need to stand up and fight for survival. I wish they all had woken up sooner and realized Israel is on the front lines of a world-wide threat, and offer help instead of harming Israel, but here we are.

Susan Sullivan's avatar

I agree! Many do, myself included! The fact our leaders have allowed it to happen. Is unforgivable.

Sadly, Dana, we are witnessing the progressive fulfillment of a prophesied ‘falling away’ (apostasy) of believers within Christianity.

Another prophesied ‘Sign of the Times’, is the skyrocketing global antisemitism that we are witnessing today.

While a shameful and tragic amount of antisemitism has existed within the Church since the Third Century, there have always been Bible-believing Christians who understood the undying, unchanging, faithful love of God for His Chosen People, and His future plans for restored Israel.

However, as this apostasy has progressed it, together with other societal factors, has steadily weakened that element of historical support, thereby contributing to the overall rise in global antisemitism.

Though these phenomena serve as further confirmation of the accuracy of Biblical prophecy, to true Christians, this state of affairs within ‘Christendom’ is a great and heartbreaking tragedy.

In response, amongst other things, many Christians like myself strive to stem the rising tides of antisemitism and apathy however we can, praying continually for revival within the Church, for transformed hearts and minds, and for a great harvest of salvation amongst the ‘unsaved’ within the world.

Either or both of those prayers may be realized, in which case the consciences of many would be strengthened and informed, thereby dampening the fires of antisemitism to some degree. But neither are prophesied for this period of time.

Love, Mike

Am Israel Chai, to the glory of God!

I will add that I am very encouraged by the explosion of people around the world--especially young people--who are joining Turning Point and returning or discovering religion and church-going. Perhaps a Revival is getting underway (I surely hope so).

Thank you Dana! Let’s keep praying that it is real, and that it flourishes, as so much hangs in the balance at the present time.

All the best, Mike

Hi, again, Mike. Yes, I agree. We are living in historic, Biblical times and there is just so much evidence of that. "Evil will be called good, good will be called evil" is another shocking and very obvious example. And as always, I (and many many other Jews) appreciate your unwavering love and support for Jews and Israel. God Bless you.

The last place on earth where you should ever look for courage, clarity, strength or wisdom is in the leaders of modern Europe, all of them (except maybe La Bella Meloni) are simply interchangeable branch managers of the global-corporate state, with no principles besides self-advancement, and all are faceless non-entities who will be completely forgotten once their terms end.

But there is one way in which they represent their nations and peoples: Europe is simply exhausted and done with capital-H History, the World Wars were a single massive suicide attempt that they're still bleeding out from, the continent is a nursing home attached to a museum, and their greatest hope is a gentle euthanasia that allows them to die in wealth clinging to various illusions about their compassion and xenophilia.

The Europeans, whether consciously and intentionally or not, have deputized Muslims to pull the plug on them, ideally as long as the children of the ownership classes have enough money to either move or get their daughters a prime spot in a future royal harem.

Jews need to flee, the writing is on the wall, but so does anyone who has kids and grandkids and wants a stable, prosperous future for them. Mass immigration, secularization, deindustrialization, decarbonization etc are all facts that point in the same direction: Christian Europe is on its deathbed and seems to like it this way.

Lighting plays a significant role in photographing: you can transform the most pleasant place into a dark and menacing murder den. That's what happens in this (anonymous) piece; it succeeds quite well in portraying the prosperous and free continent of Europe as a place of decay and disrepair. Of course, if you want to promote aliyah (a fine goal in itself), then the target audience shouldn't feel too comfortable. And indeed, it's currently inadvisable to be visibly Jewish on the streets of European capitals. But that's mainly due to the extremely bloody war in Gaza—it's simply virtually impossible to explain to the general public the military necessity of the IDF's chosen approach (chosen in effect by Hamas) in this conflict. The war is a true publicity disaster for Israel—the country had obviouslno choice, but it is horrific nonetheless.

It's just not the case that people have "therefore" become antisemitic in Europe—what is clear for now is: guilt by association for the Jewish community for the superficial.

Now that the conflict is hopefully ending, it will fade away.

And indeed, Europe faces major integration problems—its relatively small, albeit internal highly divided, Muslim population isn't the easiest group to integrate—but the EU is clearly on its way to recovery and is evidently experiencing a centripetal force at the moment, thanks to external pressure.

This is in contrast to the US, which I see falling apart due to the daily disasters unleashed on the unlucky country by the autocratic Trump regime.

"Now that the conflict is hopefully ending, it will fade away."

I sincerely hope you're right, but the current eruption of Jew hate was seeded throughout Western academia decades ago, as it fashioned the Jewish state into the Great Satan in the cosmology of the Social Justice faith. This is why the campus Left were ready on 10/7 to blame Israel for the actions of Hamas and had its cadres chanting "Globalize the Intifada" and "From the River to the Sea" before the dead bodies were even cold. And this is also why the young and enraged were tearing down pictures of the hostages, it drove them crazy to think of anyone having sympathy for Israelis, as they consider them ipso facto racist oppressors.

Also, as odious as Trump is, he's the West's strongest supporter and friend of Israel and was able to get the hostages freed without punishing Israel, which his predecessor would have never allowed. The Democrats are now a "safe space" for Jew haters and when they next win the Presidency, we will see how much they and their voters have turned against the Jewish state.

The West is going to try to solve some of its various political problems (esp mass immigration, racial and religious tribalism, and the Islamo-Left alliance that wants to destroy Israel) by sacrificing Jews, and it will be far from the first time.

My heart sank when almost immediately, he chastised the US for not caring for immigrants. Not one word about the faithful in Africa being slaughtered by Muslims daily.

Most importantly, he pleaded for peace in the Middle East without acknowledging the ageless suffering and sacrifice of the Jewish people, without whom his faith would not exist.

I pray for the survival of the Jews daily. I don’t want to live in a world without the Jewish people.

Christianity in Europe could have reformed into Liberal Christianity, embracing ethics, morals , and the historicity and teachings of Jesus. But its former adherents preferred to descend into the lack of a moral compass and frank depravity , to wilfully depopulate their society by rejecting the most life fulfilling and meaningful form of existence, children, and thus prepare the void which Islam needs to occupy Europe , by appeasement and greedy politicians. Europe appeased Hitler and now appeases Islam.

Europe is in denial about the freedom they are about to lose. But it gets worse. The moment any nuclear European country gets close to falling under Islamic rule, it will be bombed. Never mind by whom.

Elie Wiesel was once asked if he believed there could be a second Holocaust. He said he did, because he believed in madness.

Collective madness is what we are witnessing. Europe has suffered from it before, throughout its entire history, under the same supernatural superstitious Christianity, so totally removed from its Jewish hero, an impossible belief they are now logically quitting. Europe has quite recently demonstrated profound madness , in two world wars that killed close to 100MM people.

Europe is, perhaps, "the Beast ", which believing Christians, particularly Evangelicals, interpret as a sign of end times. I don't see the world itself ending, but a cataclysm of civilisational and inter-continental magnitude could strike within a couple of decades on account of Islam.

Excellent.

The vacuum of Christianity in Europe will be filled by Islam.

The emptiness that Europeans delve into - short term gratification devoid of a solid foundation - must be filled. Even though Islam appears the opposite of what Europeans are engaging in, they will forcefully spring in the opposite direction and become fanatical Muslims - and they will NOT see the contradiction.

As I heard from a Shaolin Buddhist master: the further you push the pendulum the harder and further it will return.

Americans can stand as a bright light if we can avoid the same pit. Israel is a small and bright light. The US is big enough (if we work intelligently and hard) to counteract Europe.

(I don't know how China fits in.)

The decline of Europe’s churches makes for striking symbolism, but it is more a symptom than the cause of the continent’s crisis. Hedonism and empty cathedrals are not what drive Jews to emigrate. The deeper issue is the growth of Islam’s influence through mass migration and Europe’s failure to demand integration.

Communities from Islamic countries have too often reproduced the rigid cultural and religious structures they left behind. This is not about religion versus religion, but about cultural incompatibility. Secular Europe and Israel are built on democracy, pluralism, and individual rights. Islam, by contrast, is rigid about hierarchy and law, leaving little space for liberalism. There is no democratic Islamic state today, and this is not coincidence. Even when migrants take part in elections, many do so without grasping democracy’s foundations. Participation becomes a means to an end, ultimately pushing for parallel systems of authority, such as the Sharia councils already seen in the UK.

This imbalance is glaring. You cannot freely build a church in most Islamic countries, yet mosques rise across Europe by the hundreds. The project is not coexistence but expansion. And while politicians look away for votes, the consequences play out openly. Antisemitic chants echo on European streets, not just from migrants but from locals carried along by ignorance and slogans like “Free Palestine.” Leaders defend this as free speech, yet in practice it has become cover for mobilisation against Jews.

This is not only a Jewish issue. It is a European issue. Migration without integration erodes democracy itself. Appeasement and silence do not preserve pluralism, they dismantle it. Europe must act decisively: stop further inflows, insist that those who stay embrace secular European values, and confront leaders who trade national integrity for short-term political gain. If it fails to do so, Europe will not just lose its Jewish communities. It will lose itself.

A christian friend once said to me, ‘whilst Christians believe, they don’t all belong; whereas Jews might not all believe, they all belong’.

It's going to take a Moslem overthrow to hopefully bring the Europeans to their senses but I'd not count on it for the cradle-to-grave welfare states which have arisen since the end of WWII. Also, the WORST thing which happened after that war was and is what was once called the United States of Europe or the EU as it's called now run by the Brussels tyrants. Truly only God can help them because man has utterly failed.

God has not committed Himself to saving any nation or civilization that rejects Him, but Jesus Christ did say, "The gates of hell will not prevail against My Church". When Jesus comes again (and it may not be for a very long time yet), He will find His Church still on earth - in fact, filling the earth. What we could well be seeing, though, is the end of Western Civilization.

Your answer comes in the Tanakh. The prophets have clearly told us what is coming soon. Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Zechariah, and many more have explained what is well on its way. None of this is a surprise. It was clearly foretold. The rebirth of Israel started the endtimes clock. In Ezekiel we have passed through chapters 36 & 37. 38 & 39 are forming up quickly. You need to be in Israel.

The Jews will be safe nowhere else. It is almost certain that the Messiah will be seated on the Throne of David in Jerusalem within a decade. It is time to decide what you believe. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Peace in Jerusalem will only take place when the Prince of Peace is seated on His throne. Hallelujah. If this is confusing to you, get by yourself and quietly ask the Messiah out loud, "I need to talk with you, Lord. Will you speak to me?" If you are serious, He will.

Yes! We see the apostasy has arrived. There will be no revival at this time. The Jews are making Aliyah in order to escape antisemitism in the West. They will only be safe in Israel. All things are rapidly moving toward the fulfilment of Scripture. We continue to pray for the Jews and the peace of Jerusalem. That day is coming but at a great price.

It’s worth noting that every country that successfully ethnically cleansed itself of Jews has quickly become a third world hellhole. Just saying.

Why the hell are Israelis even taking trips to Europe?

Why is America wasting resources protecting Europe from a military invasion when Europe is destroying itself from within?

And finally, my feeling is that Europe deserves its destruction. I only hope every Jew leaves the continent before that happens. Europe is driving out its productive, successful, peaceful and law-abiding Jews and replacing them with millions of violent jihadists. Good luck with that Europe. You deserve everything coming your way.

Bonnie Geller's avatar

This is rapidly occurring in Canada as well. Over two million fanatic jihadists have been pouring in with little or no vetting thanks to ten years of the Liberal government in power, which has expedited their immigration from the most radical Islamic countries , often sponsoring them while excluding refugees from the same countries who are Christian, Druze, or Yazidi. Christianity is in free fall other than for certain immigrant groups such as the strongly Catholic Filipino community, which has saved the Catholic church in many areas of the country, at least by the first generation of immigrant flow. Jews in Canada are in real peril, and just like Europe and Britain, many are planning to leave, have already fled, or have encouraged their young adult children to leave.

Considering what European Christianity put Jews through for many years, I'm not all that broken up about it. That may have been in the distant past, but antisemitism never truly disappears, as we are seeing today. Right now, it's most virulent manifestation is from the far left, we cannot pretend that it doesn't exist on the far right. There is a stream of thought among right wing Christians that Jews need to have their faith "perfected" by converting to Christianity. That's absolutely odious and I reject it entirely.

Thank you for this very thought provoking piece. Liberalism, sadly, has become the world's new religion. But unlike conventional religions its values do not raise the (inner) quality of one's life. It sets the bar very low. It does not expect the best from a human. It fosters resentment not responsibility, permissiveness not purpose. Islam will surely find fertile ground in liberalism to plant its seeds and grow. You mentioned the growing population of Muslims (and mosques) in Europe. These numbers will only grow once their children arrive. Unlike liberals in Europe who do not want to marry or beget children the Muslims of the world are a group that values family and family ties very highly. Through demographic might they will bring about a shift in European politics and social life. It is also likely that young European liberals may be swayed to convert by the security of community that Islam offers. In this they truly shine. No other religious grouping offers the kind of network and solidarity that they do. If Christianity does not make a meaningful comeback, it might be too late for Europe. As for the Jews of Europe it is good that they are leaving. It is high time the Jewish diaspora returned to Israel to build it up to become a world leader again. Too many Jews offer their energy and enterprise to nations that do not value them. It is better that they bring their light home where it is needed badly and will be cherished dearly.
