The fact that some Israelis have now descended into parroting pro-Hamas propaganda is shameful and an indication of how insidious and successful Hamas has truly been.
Sadly, I have to agree with you. Israel has been corrupted by self-defeating left-wing ideology that sides with Jew-hating Islamists, like the so-called Palestinians and their Iranian puppet-masters. So have some Jews in the Diaspora as well. But I also think these Jewish traitors are in the minority and are just being played up by the Israel-hating media.
Here’s what needs to happen if Israel is serious about its survival:
1) Make it illegal to protest the government’s actions during wartime. WW2 would not have been won by the Allies if civilians in Allied countries had been allowed to protest in favor of appeasing the enemy!
2) STOP NEGOTIATING FOR HOSTAGES. This is the terrorists’ sole trump card. Rip it away from them. To help prevent hostage taking, train and arm Israeli citizens better; stop allowing Jew-hating Palestinians into Israel as “workers”, and make it illegal to fraternize with them while their society is hell-bent on killing Jews.
3) TAKE NO PRISONERS. Kill all enemy combatants except for those identified as having info that Israel can use.
4) Stop trying to be holier than G-d. Before you attack an area heavily populated with enemy civilians, abide ONLY BY INTERNATIONAL LAW in terms of warning them. Don’t go over and above this because you’re just warning the combatants as well!
5) Above all, work on getting the Arabs to take Palestinians back. They never wanted statehood; they just want to destroy Israel. They are a “manufactured” people with no aboriginal rights. The Arabs created their “refugee” situation in the first place. To hell with world opinion. In the long run the world respects winners; not losers
The fact is that the Military reality is that Hamas is a designated terrorist organisation who started the current round of fighting, and who would do the same to support Terrorism and terror cells here in Mainland Europe if ordered to do so by their masters in Iran, for Sharia Law and an Islamic State, in the future. Israel, you are the shield of Europe: Battered, blooded but actually holding up well. So stand firm and keep going. The West knows and is with you.
I sure wish Israel had the support of European politicians. They have sold your countries out with their open borders towards Islamists and their support of Israel-hating international organizations like the UN. I realize there are efforts to stop the Islamization of Europe, such as protests going on in Britain. (I'm with them!) And by brave leaders like Geert Wilder in Amsterdam. Here in Canada, we conservatives are working to get pro-Israel candidate Pierre Poilievre elected. Naturally we pray that Trump wins in the November US election. But Israel cannot go on fighting a multi-front war alone unless G-d sees fit to grant her some miracles.
This is a disgusting state of affairs! The fact that Hamas, a terrorist organisation is allowed the upper hand in the press, is disgraceful. The Media seem to take as truth everything they say! I was happy to see today, a report in the British Telegraph, telling us that the dreadful BBC has been investigated by lawyers regarding their reporting on Gaza and Israel. They have found more than 1.500 violations! The report in its self is excoriating! The truth should always come out!
I wonder how much of the hostage family concerns and anti-Bibi focus is paid by the USA as directed by Obama, advocate for Iran. The rhetoric is a perfect fit with Obama’s hate of Bibi. And most importantly it is for a defeat of Israel and the release of few hostages and dead bodies. Do you give up security for hostages??
Since Obama, the Democrat party has been bought and paid for by the global Islamo/Leftist alliance. My husband and I predicted this while Obama was campaigning for his first term in office and some hard facts about his affiliations with Islam and the far American left came out. Obama meant it when he promised to "transform America". Well, this hellish transformation is well on its way - and will be completed if Harris gets in as president. So will the transformation of the rest of the Western world. We must work and pray diligently to stop it.
The Islamo/Leftist alliance (which certainly includes players like Obama) fueled the "bring them back" hysteria over the last year. I grieve for the hostages but was worried, from the get-go, that focusing on hostage return was playing right into the Islamists' hands. As I mentioned in another post, hostages are the terrorists' sole trump card. Certainly the IDF should try to rescue them, in their operations, but they cannot be the primary concern. Bibi should tell Hamas and their Iranian puppet-masters to "stick it". No negotiating for hostages or prisoners. The war would be over by now if he'd done this. But Bibi faces a revolt in Israel if he does this. Israeli leftists are playing on the families' fear and grief. They are stoking all the protests against Bibi to overthrow him. So are Jewish leftists in other countries. Currently, the Jewish left is as big an enemy to Israel and the worldwide Jewish community as the Islamists are. As a Jewish conservative I can tell you that some of these folks are mentally/emotionally deranged. You can't have a rational conversation with them.
As I read your latest epic effort to, yet once again, describe the indescribable and define the incomprehensible, my lightbulb finally lit.
The disease we’re seeing running rampant was identified decades ago. It has since been analyzed, dissected, modified and perfected — weaponized if you will, much like the Covid virus was in a Wuhan laboratory — consciously, continually and diabolically, since the morning of February 4, 1974, almost 50 years ago.
That was the day the Petri dish, a 19-year-old college student named Patty Hearst, was kidnapped from her apartment in Berkeley, California by a group of armed men and women.
The disease was named The Stockholm Syndrome. And I believe we are witnessing its intensional spread over masses of mankind worldwide since it was unleashed by Hamas, on October 7, 2023.
The unprecedented viciousness was not a spontaneous eruption, it was the celebratory release of a half century of effort, rooted in a fever dream thousands of years old. The worldwide caliphate.
They say defining the disease is half the battle for getting it cured. I fervently hope my hypothesis has helped.
For now, the Islamists' strategy is to "pile on" Israel and Diaspora Jews, taking advantage of the innate anti-Semitism that lies in the hearts of too many gentile Westerners who want a scapegoat for their countries' problems. Precisely the same strategy that Hitler used during the 1930s (the time of a worldwide economic Depression) and other despots before him. The Islamists have ingratiated themselves with the so-called "progressives" in Western countries, supporting their society-killing woke policies and their pundits in media, academia and politics. It would be foolish of them to broaden Islamist terror to gentile Westerners right now. But eventually they will.
It's already begun. In recent weeks the orcs who support the false Palestinian cause could not limit their hate to Jews. They've been burning the American flag and, according to a video on Twitter, a group of them in New York were chanting death threats to Elon Musk.
Divide and conquer, the oldest trick in the book, works well if no one sees it coming. (See the what’s happening here in the USA) Unfortunately for Israel and the rest of the world, we all forget. It’s a human condition. Does anyone remember 9/11? It seems the young “social justice warrior” has forgotten.
What will the next Israeli leader do different? Appease terrorist? Teach the terrorist how to love themselves and their neighbors? Whatever Israel decides to do will never be accepted. Unfortunately, this all should have been settled on October 8th! I pray for Israel and the world…
I read that the environment of the camps was the polar opposite of the reality once known to European Jews. Good was bad, bad was good .... everything upside down ... and those who survived (i.e. criminals comfortable with such manipulation did well) could do so at the expense of their souls (the film "Son of Saul" addresses this phenomonon .. worth seeing) . By the same token, heroes arose to perform acts of mercy .... There are not many of us left; if ever this has occurred to you, than you know what decisions and behaviors are necessary. It is a small family, but a family nevertheless. We cannot afford to lose any more. BTW: lots of DNA reside in Palestinian bodies ... not souls, just bodies.
It used to be on Netflix but google it .. I am sure it is around somewhere especially now when the environment is so toxic ... Jews seem to have moral compass instilled ... the other side, not so much.
I haven’t forgotten who started this war, who teaches their children to hate all Jews, or who has suckered the entire “social justice” inclined world into believing that Israel was stolen from “Palestinians”.
At the same time, Bibi has long passed his expiration date as a credible leader of Israel and has long since been revealed to be as Trumpian as Trump.
As an American (Jew), I don’t understand the parliamentary system and as such, don’t understand why an election or a no confidence vote can’t be triggered. This is a separate issue to me from the war with Hamas. Whoever takes over from Bibi will be left to make the best of his wreckage.
At best, the next round of Israeli leadership will put in the effort to deprogram and reeducate the global left on actual history and perhaps work with the US to undermine Iran. At the very least, new leadership should avoid bro hood with Putin.
What does it say about the lack of moral clarity of the Israeli left and western societies that they would fall for hamas propaganda despite witnessing its blatant evil?
Here's Trump's speech at the Jewish Republican Coalition. Please share this with every Jew you know and ask them to share it with their contacts. Every American Jew MUST vote for Trump! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQ7Q14gb7UM&t=2129s
Sorry, but we have every right to blame Bibi as much as Hamas for his failures leading up to Oct 7th and for the continuation of the war. That doesn't make me pro-Hamas, it makes me part of a democratic society. The sad reality is that Bibi empowered and funded Hamas, the same organization that you're saying the Jews needs to be more united in confronting.
Hamas's attacks on October 7th weren't only intended to sow discord in Israeli society, they were also meant to tear apart the global left. They've definitely succeeded on that front...
You can't lay all the blame on Netanyahu for policies that Israel started in the 1980's to divert funds from the ever corrupt terrorist organization the PLO. When I lived in Israel, I remember riding on buses in fear of being blown apart, so I'm sorry, this strategy probably wasn't way off base- divide and conquer like they are trying to do to us. Easy to make judgments in retrospect.
Also, plug in any other leader, and I don't think you'd have seen much of a difference in prosecuting the war, unless you know a winning way our special forces do not?
IMO the left should be torn apart and buried, because to be quite frank, I don't believe there is a peaceful 2 state solution. We are dealing with people who want to exterminate all Jews. Perhaps a coalition with the Saudis and the UAE, but let's let quixotic ideas die.
We all knew Hamas was bad news for a long time, especially since they were "elected" (using that term extremely loosely) to govern Gaza in 2005. Bibi's choice to favor them over the PLO doesn't bode well especially now that he's using the rationale that they all now must be destroyed to continue the war. So far he's taken zero responsibility for his role in that situation.
There will never be a 2 state solution because it's simply something that a western audience has decided that Palestinians should want, it bears little resemblance to what people actually living there have said about the matter. It has nothing to do with what needs to happen to "the left."
I agree that the finger is mostly pointed at Israel for the conflict and we should be able to reserve our deepest anger for Hamas who may or may not want a ceasefire or to return some or any of the hostages. But as Netanyahu introduces new conditions in the negotiations such as no withdrawal from the Philadelphi Corridor (which he had not been insistent on previously) despite the IDF, Shin Bet, etc. advising this should not be a red line, the anger is that he is not being honest and only seeks to sabotage the possibility of a deal for political reasons.
Sadly, I have to agree with you. Israel has been corrupted by self-defeating left-wing ideology that sides with Jew-hating Islamists, like the so-called Palestinians and their Iranian puppet-masters. I remember the Peace Now demonstrations that brought hundreds of thousands of people to Tel-Aviv to demand signing the Oslo Accords.
They were signed in Sept 1993 and in January 1994 the first suicide bombs in Israeli buses took place, killing 54 citizens.
Anyone calling for accountability ?
The so-called Peace Movement was orchestrated by cultural Marxists who were - and still are - anti-Israel and anti-American.,
The fact is that the Military reality is that Hamas is a designated terrorist organisation who started the current round of fighting, and who would do the same to support Terrorism and terror cells here in Mainland Europe if ordered to do so by their masters in Iran, for Sharia Law and an Islamic State, in the future. The Obama-Biden support of Iran has been a really bad idea. Harris is cut from the same cloth.
Since Obama, the Democrat party has been bought and paid for by the global Islamo/Leftist alliance. All other issues aside, this Oct. 7 attack was a trial run. If Hamas gets away with it, expect more of the same against EVERY Free society.

Thank you, during these extremely difficult times your words keep me sane and on the right track.

The media has been bad: reporting statistics from the “Gaza Ministry of Health” (ie Hamas) as though weren’t liars.
