Former U.S. President Barack Obama's foreign policies in the Middle East are one of the reasons why the region is currently inflamed — and on the verge of a greater war.
My husband's reaction when Obama was elected to his first term was: "How could the Americans put a HUSSEIN in the White House after 9/11???" I looked at him and said, "American blacks voted for him because he's black. The rest were mostly white liberal women who were fascinated by his good looks, fancy words and with patting themselves on the back for voting in a black man. None of these voters bothered to look at the truth about Obama. That he's an Islamo/Marxist activist and a good actor."
Many voted for Obama out of white guilt if they didn't vote for the first serious Black presidential candidate. That gave a free pass to the anti-Semitic and anti-White rantings of his long-time pastor Jeremiah Wright, which could not be criticized on the grounds "it would be racist".
This was all part of Obama's intended goal of transforming the US from a constitutional republic into a European style socialist state and jettisoning anyone in the Democratic Party that supported Israel
Obama was raised Muslim for a time when he was young. I recall him speaking fondly of his memories of this, including the "calls to prayer" on Fridays. His affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood is more than political. He sympathizes with Islam and Muslims, period. Politically, he is a cultural Marxist through and through. He was involved in left-wing community activism, attended a church led by an America-hating, Marxist preacher. As president, Obama was single-handedly responsible for turning woke dogma preached by academics into popular buzzwords and biases preached by the mainstream media and public school teachers. Evangelicals called him the "Anti Christ". To me he represents the epitome of the unholy Islamo/Leftist alliance which is taking over the West today.
I wouldn't have believed this in the early 2000s when I heard him speak at the DNC convention. Or even early in his first tenure. And maybe not even thereafter.
But in the last few years, certainly since the BLM riots, I do. I really do.
If I thought George W. Bush's war on Iraq was misguided, given that in removing Saddam Hussein he set Iran free to do its worst, Obama's policies have been suicidal.
Bush's war on Iraq was to protect US oil assets and Arab allies which were being threatened with takeover by Saddam. It was a short-term solution that gave way to a long term problem. Saddam, although a tyrant, was a good controller of all the bickering factions in the region. When it comes to the Middle East, there is no solution other than to let Israel protect its lands BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY and stop listening to the woke bullshit about protecting so-called "innocent" Arab civilians. A strong Israel is the only ally and piece of real estate the US can count on in the Middle East providing that Biden (who is Obama's puppet) doesn't blow the relationship (and the world) to hell by withholding vital weapons that Israel needs to fight Hezbollah in Lebanon.
"Saddam, although a tyrant, was a good controller of all the bickering factions in the region."
That's what I meant. The Iran-Iraq wars, in my memory seemingly constant, kept Iran very busy. Bush wrecked that equilibrium.
Agree on Israel. But I think the Israelis have a very different definition from their neighbors all around of "by any means necessary." They are a highly civilized people.
Well, sometimes you have to be a bit "uncivilized". As I often write, this is the challenge of a Western democracy -- to be tolerant and civilized most of the time, and to take off the white gloves and beat the barbarians at their game when necessary.
Absolutely. But there are some things Israel will not do: They will not use terror or torture or rape, the "means" routinely used by their Muslim neighbors.
Obama was not only an enemy of Israel, he enriched himself greatly with his Middle East brethren. I remember only too well when he sent $400 million in a "secret deal" to Iran, and there was some question about "missing" money. Coincidentally four Americans were released who were held in Tehran. He also made a "cash" payment to Iran of $1.7 billion dollars. No paper trail. It didn't stop there and the money kept flowing into Iran. Again, there had been talk of some missing money and it was alluded to that the missing money ended up in the pockets of Obama. Is it any wonder he could afford a $14 million dollar home in Martha's Vineyard after he left office? And his slithering words about the Gaza/Israel war that everyone had some responsibility. The man also built what looks like an obscene castle for his presidential library. Where did the money come for that? Any bets on his Middle East friends helping to fund it? There are many secrets very well hidden. If only there are people out there digging away at getting to them.
Unfortunately those that are digging away, are like the miners in Snow White and The Seven Dwarves constantly fawning over Snow White(Obama in that starring role). And they're always digging to hide the secrets not expose them.
It's certain Obama and his ilk don't want their secrets exposed, but I was hoping for the truth seekers to expose them. I like your analogy, very fitting.
"Early in his presidency, Obama emphasized his commitment to Israel’s security..."
Transparently false words from him: Obama was a long-time friend of Rashid Khalidi, a radical Palestinian who resigned from the PLO over the Oslo Accords (and teaches at Columbia). You're known by the company you keep.
One of Obama's first actions as President, in May 2009, was to cancel an Israeli order for 18 Apache AH-64 helicopters "on human rights grounds", at the same time as he sold 70 of those to Saudi Arabia.
It's clear from Obama's first moves as President, and his background before, that he came into office determined to ruin the US-Israel alliance.
One of the imbeciles he promoted, Admiral James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence, claimed in public in 2011 that the Muslim Brotherhood was "a mostly secular organization":
Excellent piece. 👏🏽 This is eye opening for me as a former Muslim. The mosques and Islamic organizations are saying the opposite of the Biden administration - he’s too pro Israel. But given what is happening behind the scenes, Biden seems to be following Obama’s two faced agenda. Hence why Bibi called Biden out and the administration is acting like they know nothing.
You forgot to mention the fact that Obama bowed before his Islamist overlord.
BTW, I was never able to get past the fact that Obama sat in a church for 20 years and listened to the hateful rhetoric of Rev. Wright. If I spent one minute in a Synagogue where the rabbi espoused hate towards Blacks, I would have been gone before you can say, amen.
Finally Obama has proven his Jew hatred given his official statement regarding Oct. 7.
In 2016, the U.S. and Israel signed a record-breaking $38 billion military aid package, signaling ongoing support. However, what most people do not realize is that this deal has proven to be a disastrous point of American leverage against Israel, and it has significantly downgraded Israeli military technology, manufacturing, and the amount of local jobs in the sector. HOW ?
Yes! Israel sold herself to the US and I'm thinking that Israeli politicians on the left and right were responsible for this. Was there any politician in Israel opposing this?
The Iran Nuke Deal still astonishes me to this day. And flying HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS in cash to the regime to appease them. I just don't get it. The move did nothing to stabilize the region and emboldened Iran to attack Israel directly or through proxies. I remember watching an interview with Obama where he justified the cash delivery. Paraphrasing he said something like "It was there money. We need to give it back. And Iran needs to feel secure in the region." (with their own nuclear weapons.) Biden sent even more cash to Iran. Presumably to impress his boy Obama.
"Still, the U.S. State Department (America’s version of a foreign ministry) under Obama and continuing into Biden’s first presidential term, has become increasingly anti-Israel "
None of this is accidental. Obama is determined to take down (“transform”) the USA and Western civilization. Israel is a target because his sympathies lie with Islamist extremists and Communists. His sympathies lie there because he is a Communist and an Islamist. He hates Netanyahu and the Israeli Right almost as much as hates Republicans. Suicidal Libtards voted this guy in twice. He’s the single most destructive force in American politics and he’s still running the White House through his demented mannequin stunt double, Joe Biden.
Obama also reignited racial tension in the US (and by extension, other areas).
He was instrumental in developing the narrative that white people (particularly straight, white men) were a grave danger to all minority groups (although he seemed perfectly fine with policies that are detrimental to the more financially successful minority groups)
Despite his slick unifying message he was "The Great Divider".
Thanks for an illuminating article, detailing a lot of facts of which I was ignorant, not having followed politics much before 2015. However, the point about Israel's own manufacturing of weapons -- that's on Israel. You never ever let yourself become reliant on other countries for anything that is essential. We learned this during COVID in regard to certain medical supplies; surely it applies to weapons!!!

Obama was, is, and will be a Muslim and an enemy of Jews and the USA
Excellent article.

Finally Obama has proven his Jew hatred given his official statement regarding Oct. 7.
And 70% of my fellow Jews not only voted for him twice but continue to make excuses for him.
Obama also spent many years attending Reverend Wright’s church listening to and absorbing his vicious anti American and anti Semitic sermons
The vast majority of this aid has to be spent in the U.S. on U.S. manufacturers, thus gutting a lot of Israel's defense industry.
Yes! Israel sold herself to the US and I'm thinking that Israeli politicians on the left and right were responsible for this. Was there any politician in Israel opposing this?
Stifled the homegrown weapons industry. Israeli military aid must be spent in the USA.

How well is that working out? Hmm?
It hasn't become anti-Israel. The State Department has always been anti-Israel.

An enlightening article, thanks. You really have to wonder at the perverted thinking behind these sort of decisions.

The book of Revelation is very revealing when trying to understand the foreign policy movements in the US.
