Joshua, I have always believed what you are advocating! The answer is in Israel’s strength and awareness! You can’t depend on the appeasement policies of the US and the West. It would lead to self destruction. Last night you acted on your own intelligence and instinct. Thank goodness you did! Don’t accept these piecemeal strategies.

What I find unbelievable, is the reversion to appeasement. We would NEVER have won the last WWAR had we done this. You are in my thoughts and prayers always.

I hope that Obama loses this upcoming election, and then you might have USA support for taking out Iran's nuclear capability.

With the growing popularity of isolationism on the right, I'm not so sure of Israel getting support from either party well into the future.

Joshua, once again a compelling well thought out article. Have you approached JPost or the NY Post here in NYC about carrying some of your articles?

No, we like having our own platform to do and write as we wish. 🙌

Josh, of course you need the independence of your own platform and Future of Jewish has built a respectable audience. Yet, there’s got to be ways . Plus, a more memorable subtitle or slogan couldn’t hurt to help your brilliancy spread. I propose :

Future of Jewish —

The Jews’ Nu? News.

Thought provoking, isn’t it ? - just like you. Far better and more honest than “All the news that’s fit to print.”

And notice how I slipped my suggestion in by augmenting, not altering, your journalism. Just like I did with my response to Jerry Kleiner Papa J’s comment to this phenomenal article.

The whole world should preemptively read this ‘Preemptive’ article. As well as your others and we’ve got to make it happen.

I was waiting to read what you would say about the strikes this morning. Your analysis is right on! Yes, Israel needs to do this same thing to Iran. A brilliant analysis. Please stay safe and keep making us smarter. Thank you ❤️

A side benefit from taking out either their nuclear capability or some of that oil infrastructure (or both) might be fomenting civil unrest against the regime. There are many who are waiting to get out from under that thumb.

Why is the West so oblivious to the fact that you cannot negotiate and appease Jihadists? MAYBE THEY AREN’T OBLIVIOUS. More importantly, why does the West not come to grips that Israel is fighting an enemy that wants to destroy the West as well? MAYBE WESTERN LEADERS WANT TO BE CONVERTED TO ISLAM. American ships and personnel are being attacked by Irans proxies and they do relatively nothing. I just dont understand it at all? ITS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY FOR BIG CHANGE. Instead it is appeasement, it is scolding Israel, it is "understanding" the demonstrators who burn our American flags. BECAUSE THEY APPROVE. Dont they see the Islamic transformation of Europe. Have they not looked at Brussels and seen what appeasement does? THEY DO AND THEY LIKE IT. It truly is a Bizarro World BIZZARRO IS ONE NAME FOR IT. THERE ARE OTHER MORE FAMILIAR ONES, A FEW STARTING WITH PRESIDENT. and we can only hope that Israel remains strong and doesnt do a deal that hurts us. IT IS HURTING US. HOW MUCH MORE PAIN CAN WE TOLERATE? Maybe, just maybe the world will change after Election Day in the US. papa j THE WORLD WILL DEFINITELY CHANGE, PAPA J, BUT IN WHICH DIRECTION?

It’s to do with globalists who don’t want borders and are against nationalism. Look at what Kier Starmer has done with France - he’s basically reneging on Brexit, bit by bit.

I am not a big fan of the term Globalist cuz at its pejorative genesis it was used as a trope against Jews ...."the Jewish conspiracy to control the world" ..... In its current and non-conspiratorial use of the word, it is the idea that one country actions cannot be separated from another country ... that in essence what one country does affects others. Brexit was the idea that each European country affected the other and that the countries should work in unison making them better off all around.

Having said that, i dont know that globalists in general want to do away with borders. And even if it did, I dont see why being soft on immigration would mean letting Jihadists and criminals into your country that want to destroy you.

You may very well be right Amanda, i just think each country has its own reasons. I think the Dems dont care if Jihadists come in cuz they are pretty secure that anyone they let in will vote for them in the future. In other words, their desire for the immigrant vote overshadows their concern for the safety of the country. The same holds true i believe for Canada. Europe may be the same, I just dont know. papa j
