Yes those of us who read these articles agree with you but how many readers do you have? Maybe a few hundred at most? This is what the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, CNN, ABC etc should be reporting. Even thousands of Diaspora Jews believe the publicity of the Muslims. Even thousands of Israelis protest against their own governments policies not realizing how this encourages anti-semitism in the rest of the world. Look how many countries have now called for a Palestinian state and probably about 40 percent of diaspora Jews support this.

Writing these articles in this forum do us little good. Use some good media contacts and get these voices heard in National media through the western world.

You are correct that this superb essay should be read by those who really need to read it. We must stand together and we need the reinforcement we get from these articles. They present an important opportunity. Send them to those so-called liberal and progressive friends of yours. Just maybe these will educate those who need their eyes opened. Especially, your Jewish friends.

The loudest voices on our planet belong to those who long for the collapse of Western civilization. They imagine a Utopia on the other side of Armageddon, one in which they will live in houses abandoned by the wealthy, there to raise organic vegetables and host orgies.

Of course, you and I know that if they get their way, they will be herded into labor camps to starve and die.

This essay is a wonderful call to reason, but I doubt if reason is a remedy for what ails us.

In 2023, I was sympathetic to the "Palestinians." Not passionately so, more like compassionate and open-minded. I knew Jewish history but I knew no Israeli or "Palestinian" history nor really anything about the history of any of the Muslim countries. Then 10/7 happened and literally the same day social media was flooded with calls of "Death to Israel!" and "Death to the Jews!" when it appeared that Israel had been savagely attacked while minding its own business. So I hit the books to find out what was really going on. I read and listened to podcasts during pretty much every waking moment from then to this day. Within maybe four months, all the accounts of savage repeated attempted genocide of the Jews, all accounts of peace deals rejected and met with massacres of the Jews, all accounts of Islamic colonialism and Islamic supremacy burned through any sympathy I had had.

I now have an attitude very much that the "Palestinians" have to demonstrate a complete about-face on the Islamic jihadi goal to conquer the earth before I will trust them an inch. They have to demonstrate they truly respect the Israelis and will recognize Israel as a state and not try to kill its people. Seriously, how can you trust or even respect such people? Reading a history from WWI, the Brits called the Arabs "children of lies" and the "Palestinians" totally fit that; they refuse responsibility for everything and lie about everything, and do everything they can to get the world to fight their battles for them. Unprincipled cowards.

I started out sympathetic. It takes a lot to get me to have contempt for a people. I am angry that they proved they were worthy of contempt.

The Palestinians can not demonstrate! Everyone single hypothetical be executed and tortured .

It’s too convenient and supposedly righteous to declare what must be done. It’s not that different from the herds on social media.

It’s intolerable to witness Natanyahu’s quest to remain in power

A large % of Israelis are as disgusted and despise him. . Nothing but political motives and remaining in power , and lest we forget, the fraud cases against that “leader” and his enablers, the Haredim, who pose a long standoff treat of a civil war. Natanyahu will stop at nothing to save his skin standing to trials.while threatening the pillars of the judiciary system so that he’ll remain unaccountable.

For myself, I couldn’t imagine any different emotions under decades of injustice and oppression. Hate, violence and boundless fury, negates the same. Consequences are inevitable.

Mind, many Palestinian people welcomed the prospect of being shackled, exploited Hamas.

Arguably, raising Palestinian

children who are bent on obliterating Israel and Jews is a horrifying beyond words.

I’ll leave it at that.

There is ignorance on social media bc it’s in vogue to be w the “cool” and follow the perverse trend and the worst of all spreading antisemitism. The masses have no clue nor elemental desire and much less motivation than educate themselves.

They must piggyback on the “cool”to feel less voiceless and follow the herd.

Yet plenty folks are educated enough on the tremendously complex issues faced by Israel on the inside as a deeply divided society

I urge folks to watch the multiple awards winning series, OUR BOYS. Am Israeli production for HBO.

A must see , which I had to take frequent breaks bc it’s excruciating and heart wrenching , due to unflinching facts that occurred during 2014th following unspeakable horrors on both sides.

Your conviction shall be put to the ultimate test.

I dare you, with all my heart.

That’s education.

I have grown up in Israel. I follow live news from Israel. Unbiased. Authentic.

You owe it to yourself to watch. Please.

Maya you say they cannot demonstrate but who put Hamas into the position they occupy?

Who also supported fully, and many still do, around 85% and if they could do it again,b they would, the massacres, death and torture rape of women and killing of innocent babies and children with abject glee and boasting of it online and to families back in Gaza?

Palestinians were complicit and still are. They started this war and hate him or not, BB and his cabinet are going to finish it.

You can and should feel sorry for some Palestinians, particularly the young kids, but it's a mess of their own making and until they too get rid of Hamas, their lives going forward aren't going to be good. One also has to ask the question, and I may be wrong on the exact number, but as I understand it there's at least 13 relatively wealthy Muslim neighbours eg Saudi, UAE etc that have bans in place to prevent Palestinians from entering those countries. They know how bad those people are. Yet they share a common heritage and religion yet even they regard Palestinians as persona non grata.

It says alot about the Palestinians and the fact that Israel and all of its people have been forced to deal with that Genocidal population for 80 years alone. Israel has made many mistakes but Palestinians chose their own destiny and they never seem to learn it's futility. Maybe that will change?

> I couldn’t imagine any different emotions under decades of injustice and oppression

You haven't elaborated on what you mean by injustice and oppression. My understanding is that all the "injustices" like checkpoints or the wall by the "occupied territory" were in response to Arab violence. Israel has a long history of trying to make peace with the Arabs. Some have made peace. Some would rather die than live next to a dhimmi as if they were equals. The "oppressions" I suspect you are talking about are the workarounds to living side-by-side with a genocidal population.

You talk about the Palestinians as if they were helpless children. Those helpless children created a tunnel system over 500 miles long under 25 miles of territory, a feat of engineering. If they put a fraction of their energy into figuring out how to make peace rather than figuring out how to wipe every Jew off the face of the earth, they might not be in the situation they're in right now, where their leadership wants as many of the as possible to die for the photo ops. When they were given Gaza, it was a resort, it was like Miami. They voted the worst possible people into power because those people promised to kill all the Jews.

Now they reap the whirlwind. Their leaders take every opportunity to ensure the worst things possible happen to them. They don't let them leave when the Israelis say to evacuate. They steal their food. They store weapons next to the youngest of children, in the hopes these children will get killed. Such a great photo op.

I don't believe in the "innocent Gazan" anymore. Too many are in favor of Hamas.

I don't believe Gazans don't have guns. If they don't, then how do you explain the infighting between rival gangs? Why don't these criminal gangs join up and get rid of Hamas? Do any of these criminal gangs think it's OK that Jews exist on this planet?

I know it's a terrible thing to suggest that "Palestinians" should have to take responsibility for anything, you know, being helpless children, but you start a war where the strategy was to have your entire population killed, your leaders' only problem is that not enough of the population got killed.

I’m old enough to remember how the Palestinians terrorized and murdered innocent Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics. And I paid enough attention to the “conflict” at least back that far, such that I’ve had no sympathy ever for “the cause;” simply hoping, like most, that a genuine peaceful resolution could somehow be achieved. My cynicism has been repeatedly reinforced by the reality of the Palestinians’ sole objective: the elimination of the one Jewish State.

This column should be published in every newspaper in the country. Hamas is excellent at propaganda. The amount of people who I have interacted with online are either beyond stupid, anti Jew and anti Israel or both. They have no concept of history or context. Israel is the enemy.

Most people alive today have never been involved in “war” which is what Israel is involved in now. Can you imagine us in WW2 not attacking certain enemy cities because children would starve?

In the meantime, Israel is doing what it needs to do. It is so sad that so few of us know it and support it.

Hamas’ primary strategy of massacring Jews to wet the appetite of the antisemitic world, then maximizing civilian suffering to embolden the full flowering of millions’ most basest instincts - the hatred for the “collective Jew” - has been triumphantly vindicated beyond their wildest dreams.

I’m afraid you’re 100% right, Kelli! The Palestinians make it very hard to feel any sympathy for them when they do the kind of stuff that they do. On October 7th, Hamas entered Israel and gunned down drivers on the highway and random pedestrians, cut babies’ heads off, hacked elderly grandmas to death, kidnapped hundreds of innocent people, shot up a peaceful rave, brutally raped young women and stuck sharp foreign objects in their vaginas to torture them, looted and burned civilian homes, shot dogs in the head for target practice, and murdered as many Jews as they could in a single day. Thousands in Gaza came out to celebrate this and praise God for this “amazing victory.” Don’t forget Hamas didn’t pull off October 7th alone, they had help from Islamic Jihad and civilian collaborators. Gazan civilians took everything not nailed down, kidnapped hostages of their own, raped Israeli women, ransacked their their homes, and murdered innocent people for the h*** of it.

These folks were handed Gaza on a silver platter in 2005 by Israel who withdrew in a bid for peace. Sadly, a plurality of them choose to elect Hamas. Hamas proceeded to destroy the strip. It could’ve been the Hong Kong of the Middle East and it’s people live quite comfortably, but Hamas stole most of the aid and has left Gaza underdeveloped and one of the poorest places on Earth. Many civilians support them and assist them in what their doing. They cut off their nose to spite their face. They’re so blinded by hate for Israel they can’t see that they’re supporting the very people who are keeping them down. Their shooting themselves in the foot. They’d rather see the Jewish state destroyed then prosper and give their children a good life. Their supporters are woefully misguided and don’t understand what their talking about. Their useful idiots like Joe Rogan, Piers Morgan, Dave Smith, Susan Sarandon, Jimmy Dore, Kurt Metzger, Olivia Rodrigo, Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, Ms. Rachel, and Kyle Kulinski are not helping matters either.

If the Palestinians want a state, they need to get rid of Fatah and Hamas, elect a secular, liberal democracy that works in the interests of its people and respects minority groups, women and LGBTQ+ people’s rights, will live alongside Israel in peace and will join the Abraham Accords. The new Palestinian leadership also needs to sincerely apologize for all Palestinian crimes against Israel and the Jewish people. Only then will they will they be fit to have a state of their own. Hamas must be totally destroyed if peace is ever to be achieved in the Middle East. The people of Gaza are starting to turn and this is a great thing. They need to come to see Hamas not Israel is the one who brought down this catastrophe upon them.

Not a Koranic scholar but doesn't that book deride Jewish existence? Not surprising then that the Islamic world harbors such hostility to Jews. They seem to believe in the concept Islam wins, Jews lose. To all Jewish folks I say keep your guard up at all times wherever you are or as is said in military circles "Situational Awareness."

I've posted about this before possibly with you.

Those poles understate the amount of support for October 7th.

Because the polls were not done Oct 7.

Or at least two major polls done in the Arabic world.

But they were done significantly after the Israeli retaliation.

They showed like 85% support in Judaismaria and 70% in Gaza

Not surprising because of retaliation took place in Gaza.

But you can be sure the numbers were higher on Oct 7 then after the retaliation.

Easily in excess of 90% and very likely approaching 100%.

Anyone saying what about the kids can be dismissed for two reasons.

One in Garza the kids are indoctrinated as young as five and so are no longer innocent. We should be used as suicide bombers very young and they can be used as combatants at 12 or younger.

The other reason is because it's a sophomoric stupid attempt at argument.

Kids have always suffered the sins of their parents and enjoyed the fruits of their parents virtue since the beginning of time.

So the innocence of any kids is irrelevant.
