I agree with you! This man is not in his right mind. It is negligent that he is not assessed by a Doctor. He is dangerous! His behaviour over Afghanistan was the warning sign. His attitude to Israel does not make sense, he says one thing and then pivots to another point of view. America and the west need Israel, it’s the buffer between Europe and deranged Islam. He is being used as a puppet but he has bursts of irrational behaviour that come out of nowhere. This is causing huge embarrassment on the international stage. Putin said it all this week, when he said he would choose Biden as the President in 2024. Why do you think that was?
Of course every other conflict has seen the civilian population escape to other countries but the Gazans were not allowed to leave by our allies! As to the upcoming election, I am very impressed with Robert Kennedy, Jr's Israel policy. He's a great alternative to the two party candidates.
Agree! RFK, Jr. is a great candidate on many levels and he is a strong supporter of Israel. But unfortunately the media has done a real hit job on him because he was opposed to the Covid vaccine from the beginning because he felt there was not enough data to show it was safe.
The criticism of Biden and his administration had valid comments as was pointed out in the article. What is always missing with our politicians is when they pose their ridiculous ideas about a "credible plan," they need to be asked, "And what might that credible plan be?" They have no idea because that's up to Israel. Why haven't they even acknowledged the great job the IDF has done getting two hostages out? Crickets. One of the big problems our politicians have and this includes many of our presidents and their admin is that they haven't learned anything since Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. about the culture and values of those who do not share Western values. Their naive idea is that if we make nice with them, everything will work out. It doesn't work that way and hasn't in the past. The lack of understanding was shown in Jake Sullivan's essay that boasted, "how quiet it was in the Middle East" and boom, October 7th. An analogy is the child who is in another room playing quietly. That's when an alert parent knows something is going on and they'd better check on the child. They do and they see the room in total disarray. Quiet can be good but it can also be a signal that something might be going on. We know from our armed services in the past, if the US had been attacked as Israel was, our army wouldn't be thinking about the civilian casualties of our enemy. Then again, so much has changed in our internal policies, we may need to be fearful of how the US would react. We just heard about a serious national security threat by our Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, but the people were told to remain calm. I'd remain calm if I believed our government was competent and our Intelligence could handle a threat. While I'm doubtful, I remain hopeful that they could keep us safe in a serious attack.
I could not wait to read this article, and Joshua, criticism of Biden by you, me, or anyone else, doesn't mean we are supporters of Trump. That is a very binary way of looking at issues, but that's the way it is in the US. I can't speak for other countries. As soon as anything negative is said about Biden (which has been earned by him), deflection after deflection takes place, or names are being hurled at people, such as, MAGA, Trump supporter, Nazi, etc. All it shows is the small mindedness of people's inability to have any form of discourse, while shutting out other's opinions with censoring and name calling..
I notice that Westerners, particularly Americans, seem incapable of understanding the mindset of groups like Hamas, nor the cultural trends and psychological traits that motivate Islamists and their leaders. They keep offering what they would want (resources, assurances) as if its regular political tit for tat.
They keep blabbing on about a 2 state solution, despite Hamas explicitly stating in their charter that “peace treaties are a waste of time.” Hamas was always focused on hating Jews as subhuman “dogs” and only recently started acting aggrieved about “ethnic cleansing,” “colonization” and “genocide.” If you compare the original 1980s charter with the 2017 “update,” it’s so obvious that they erased the parts that admit they want to take over the world and for all Jews to die. Though I have a feeling the aid money would flow just the same, cause ppl apparently ignore this fact altogether or, for some reason, don’t care. It is so bizarre to me.
It always sounds like Biden is condescendingly talking to an inferior, like a child, which is really not a good tactic with Israel. I wouldn't listen to him either besides the fact the mental stress is causing him to be less capable of dealing with such a huge problem. Not his mind you. But Israel's. So no Mr president of the United States of America. You don't have the executive decision to tell little Israel what to do. Israel is capable of thinking for itself. Maybe you should listen and learn.
I think Netanyahu is trying to restore much-needed security to Israel's borders towns with Gaza and in the north, on the border with Lebanon. I have little doubt that he is doing this, at least in part, to secure the votes of people who leave in these areas, but nonetheless he is doing this to restore much-needed security, which is to the benefit of all 9 million Israelis.
The less than two-to-one civilian to combatant casualty ratio that I mentioned in this essay is all the proof we need to know about the IDF taking measures to protect Gazans, more than most other countries on this planet would do.
The violence in the West Bank goes both ways; you only see the "settler violence." I do not condone any violence, Jewish against Arabs and vice versa, but many people are being deceived by the media into thinking that "settler violence" is bigger than it actually is. This is a distraction from the main event. I will write more about this soon in a future essay.
As a citizen of both the US and Canada, I hang my head in shame at the back-pedalling of our leadership in both countries on Israel’s right to defend itself. I know many of you in Israel can relate to the problem of ‘flexible’ politicians.
I’m wondering why you needed that disclaimer in the beginning of this piece. Biden has been the worst president in US history and the worst for Israel. I’m relieved the Dayan quote still holds truth.
The USA is already in Israel’s shoes. It’s just that ordinary Americans, by and large, haven’t realized it yet. For example, I am an older, white, male Christian. If I am jumped by several criminals and killed, it’s a non-event outside of my family (sound familiar?) If, alternatively, in the process of being jumped I produce a firearm and shoot three of my attackers, killing one, and the attackers all turn out to belong to an oppressed or colonized group, all elite groups in my society will go to extreme ends to paint me into the “criminal” category (are you starting to see the pattern?)
This dynamic is why I am huge booster of Israel right now. I don’t live in the Middle East, I am not Jewish, I am not even related to any Jews by marriage. But I see clearly that what is being done to Israel is in store for me SOON.
Bibi just says he is a friend because it's the literally Politically Correct thing to say.
Biden brutally snubbed Bibi and you know it's because he would prefer his soulmate, Bennett.
JoeBama is a Satanic Entity and so a natural enemy of God's People.
It was a good read, but really only pertinent for now.
It would be an entirely different scenario under Trump. It would not even require a change of venue to the USA for Trump to stand up.
For me, the most impressive thing in his 2016 campaign was buying an hour of network air time, and, disregarding the potential for lost votes, making adamantly clear that he would always support Israel.
I think we need to pay closer attention to the fact that the Iranian-backed anti-Israel and antisemitic Hezbollah terror army in Lebanon has amassed an arsenal of rockets, missiles, and mortars with more firepower than many NATO armies.
"Hezbollah terrorists use this weapons cache to murder Israeli civilians and attack Israeli military bases and infrastructure that are critical to the defense of the Jewish state. "
That's not half of it. We are already broke, everything's on the national credit card, and all that debt is secured by your labor.
Think China will hesitate to redeem what we owe by putting you in a labor camp?
They are already built, by our own government, under the auspices of FEMA.
China Joe has emptied so much from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to artificially suppress gas prices that it will take years to refill, after we have fuel to refill with.
It's such a huge volume, it can't be refilled quickly, it's just not possible with the current laws of physics.
But it's not just to game inflation, it's deliberately done on behalf of his Chinese Masters.
I don't know if any of you swallowed that nonsense about a stray Chinese weather balloon.
Make no mistake,it was a spy balloon and China Joe's cooperation made it's mission possible.
China has a whole fleet of Spy Balloons and have explored a number of countries besides ours, and that's how dishonest things are.
The Government knew exactly what it was from the very first siting, if not before it was launched.

America already did to Cuba, what Hamas did to Israel at the Bay of the pigs, eh? America, the bully! Eh?

Yup, couldn’t have said it better myself!!

Incredibly well said.

Do you think Netanyahu is serving Israelis well? Did you know Biden has other things to worry about besides Israel? He has
done good work in many ways you don’t care about. You try being an American President and spending billions on a
Jewish State in an atmosphere like we have here.
Please show proof of the extreme efforts
the IDF takes to protect Gazans.
It is getting increasingly difficult to support this war based on what we are shown and the violence in the West Bank Ben Gvir encourages.
I think Netanyahu is trying to restore much-needed security to Israel's borders towns with Gaza and in the north, on the border with Lebanon. US flips script every single day.

I’m wondering why you needed that disclaimer in the beginning of this piece. Biden has been the worst president in US history and the worst for Israel. I’m relieved the Dayan quote still holds truth.
Because too many people were conflating criticism of Biden's administration with support of Trump.
Yeah. People tend to do that.

Is it as safe for America as we think and hope?
I am going to post about on Friday.
