To some extent I call BS. What kind of parent sends their daughter to a war zone? Qualifies under play stupid games win stupid prizes. Darwinism in its finest form.

She was 26, so her parents probably had nothing to do with it...but clearly they raised a fool for a daughter, easy to manipulate and brainwash by a radical organization (the ISM.) Just like Rachel Corrie. So yup, natural selection in this case for sure!

As the article demonstrates, people only know what the mainstream media spoon feeds them, and the media is ridiculously biased and untrustworthy.

Right, but that's where the comparison ends: one a fine young man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, the other a foolish dupe.

Here in Seattle I witnessed an interesting dynamic last May. Exercising in a park, while prominently displaying an Israeli flag (I am not Jewish), a studious appearing young man approached me to persuade me that Netanyahu is a terrorist. I stopped my exercising and engaged with him. He was respectful. In the background I MAY have noticed three other young men loitering and looking our way. Several minutes into this exchange, another young man, much rougher in appearance, approached and started touching my Israeli flag. I retrieved it and began tightly holding it. The rough young man kept threatening to take my flag away, all while standing in front of me and furtively trying to maneuver behind me. It was VERY intense. The respectful young man receded - he didn’t know what to do. The angry young man and I had a 20+ minute altercation, with me slowly walking to the nearby police water patrol station. The respectful young man followed us, which seemed natural, but the three background young men ALSO followed us. When I reached the police station the hostile young man receded.

Conclusion: the hostile young man had no point, he was just angry at the world. But did the lurking young men in the background orchestrate the angry young man’s arrival? I strongly suspect yes. This seems to echo the structure familiar to me from the American Civil War - high status people goading lower status people into conflict by using appeals to “touchy” honor. I strongly suspect that Arab tribal societies have this dynamic in them ready to be activated in the face of even the tiniest of insults.

How coincidentally (which I don't believe), that this young woman was killed accidentally so soon after the six hostages were murdered. Once again, the moral equivalency card, but somehow it's never as equitable as the Arabs would like. I wonder if any of the pro-Hamas university looneys are thinking about going to the West Bank to protest. They can then request their vegan food for working so hard to protest. I won't hold my breath.

This is excellent, hits the nail on the head...security at Ben Gurion need to be on alert in regard to the entry of these useful dupes for Radical Islam, and send them back, nobody wants them.

In the early days of the war in Gaza, Israel was accused of targeting journalists. The confusion by the mainstream, antisemitic media was that Israel was trying to prevent the truth from being told. At that time, I researched journalist death rates and concluded that the death rate in this conflict was no higher than it had been in WWII. Now that Wikipedia has become an unreliable source for this kind of information and the islamists are ensuring that there are dozens of "fake" websites, touting their narrative, I'm not sure where you can get any objective numbers. Not from the always-lying, Hamas-run, Gaza "Health Ministry". Not from the antisemitic mainstream and international "news" media or UN. Not from the filled-with-Marxists US state department.

Wait, so...I should take heed of my parents' attempts to talk me out of my upcoming trip to Israel next month? =P

This article reminds me of the Rachel Corrie fiasco that happened after her death in 2004. She's now considered a "martyr." I think people on our end of the aisle just consider her very stupid!

Perhaps Proverbs 14.12 has a place here: "There is a way that seems right to a man,

but its end is the way to death."

Or to paraphrase Ecclesiastes 10.2, "If you are wise, you know the right way to go. But a fool is stupid and he goes the wrong way".

Anthony Blinken’s reaction to this young girl’s Death was far more vehement than it was to the death of the American citizen Hirsch Goldberg. Actually, I don’t recall Anthony Blinken having a reaction to Hirsch’s death.

By the way, these staged demonstrations at this location have been going on for at least a decade. The adult organizers bringing young Arabs to throw rocks at Israeli troops and invite journalist to see it. It’s all fun and games until…

I so love this. When I heard about her death, my first reaction was exactly as you put it re going to a war zone. The contrast in reporting with the three Jewish deaths the day before is THE point, is it not? Same with Oct. 7. Regarding those hostages, I have been amazed at the difference in the reaction toward the Americans involved and the hostages taken by Iran in 1979-1980. The only difference is, these Americans are Jews.
