Another hypocrisy: Jews who emigrated to mandate Palestine during the 1920s-30s are called "colonizers," while Muslims who emigrated there during the same period are called "immigrants."

Actually, the Muslims who immigrated to British Mandate Palestine are called indigenous.

Typical double standard in my country; Foreign Minister representing Labour Party refused to let our king Harald send a condolence to Israel government after attack because it could upset members in the party.

Hey, Nachum! This has all of the hallmarks of good scripting for a game show; "Spot the Double-Standard." We could make millions of shekels on this one. And consider the possibilities for syndication and residuals from the reruns. The standards never change so this show could go on forever. Give me a call.

So you're saying they want us dead.

As Dara Horn says, People love dead Jews. The same media orgs and their employees will blindly push the Hamas line and root for the destruction of Israel then later weep crocodile tears in books and movies about the poor dead Jews and how it was someone else's fault (and the Jews' too) for why they were killed.

It seems that many gentiles along with many anti-Zionist Jews prefer to have the Jewish people be homeless, stateless, helpless victims to serve as moral symbols and scapegoats rather than support their right to exist in safety and peace.

Could someone please forward this amazing essay to Bernie Sanders? Actually, never mind, he won't accept the truth anyway.

Not even Hamas hates Israel as much as Leftist Jews. Bernie honeymooned in the Soviet Union at the same time as their campaign against Jews was heating up, leading many thousands to emigrate. But the actual existing lives and welfare of these people mattered less to him than the imaginary Communist utopia, where there would be no more Jews left, as they would be dissolved by universal communism. Bernie et al need Israel to be erased so they no longer have to be reminded of their Jewishness, which they denounced long ago.

Nazi placement-officers from the Nazi Elements high in The State try to set the agenda in the Media and in The UN and in Academia, whenever Israel defends herself. We have been watching them and this Program for years now. These antisemitic campaigns are Done for High-ranking Nazis and for Arab money. State this fact clearly, then answer the criticisms, and then Ignore.

Very well written. I'll take this opportunity to say something that's been on my mind. Whenever someone says Israel has a right to "defend itself" I listen carefully to what comes next. Very often, they don't understand or acknowledge, or they don't want to acknowledge, that self-defense doesn't necessarily mean just stopping your opponent from harming you -- for example, you shoot him in the leg and he stops. In my mind, it means incapacitating your opponent so that he cannot harm you ever again. I think that every time "self defense" is discussed, it should be made very clear what is meant.

Excellent article.

One item to note is the section "Settlement versus Occupation."

"Jewish settlements in the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria loom in antisemites’ minds like something terrible, despite them merely being villages. There is no outrage about Turkish settlers in Northern Cyprus, Moroccan settlers in Western Sahara, or Chinese settlers in Tibet. Only Jewish homes are the problem."

There is a crucial difference between Turkish settlers in Northern Cyprus, Moroccan settlers in Western Sahara, Chinese settlers in Tibet, and Jewish so-called settlers in Judea and Samaria.

The lands the Turks, Moroccans, and Chinese are settling never belonged to them. Jews are not settling on foreign territory but rebuilding in their historical, ancestral lands. That makes them not settlers but Returnees.
