Indeed, lefty Jews are a plague. In the U.S., and Israel too. They have always been among us.

Would be in question, Jews who have lost their faith. Jews who profile themselves as politically left-wing, in part follow traditional Jewish cultural customs, take care of their neighbors in solidarity, but are lost with their identity when it comes to the purpose of Torah teaching and faith in Jewish identity.

Not everyone has lost their faith. As diverse a group as there are right-wing thinkers. In Israel, there is a similar division as there is on the political map of the USA, small political groups can be found in both, but they are confined to a secondary role, and are used to achieve their own goals. It is called getting a majority in parliament for their supporting party. A way that has turned into an unholy and greedy policy pursued by power. Is Israel also falling into this trap?

There is right wing and extreme right wing, just like left wing and extreme left wing. Both extremist movements are equally close to the National Socialist thinking.

Nonsense. Any and all comparisons of Israel's political agendas with those of Nazi Germany is odious and ignorant. Period.

The issue was not about Israel's political goals, but about the way to blame those who think differently politically.

I agree. I do not think the world is dumb, I think they are antisemites looking for any opportunity to hate Israel, even if it means ignoring all facts and reinventing history. Just today I was told by a Canadian with obvious Christian symbolism on his facebook that Jews are NOT from ancient Israel, Canaan or Judea, we are from Mesopotamia. He totally ignored the fact that according to the Bible, Avraham left Mesopotamia for Israel in 2000 BCE. He told ME to read the bible as proof of this.

I simply cannot chalk this up to stupidity.

Stunning 🤯. Personally I am stunned and worried by BIAS : anti Israël and antisemitic bias on most search engines on the "i-p conflict" integrating bias like "Jewish colonies / settlements in Cisjordanie" and inventing a P state that has never existed as a souvereign state. Hamas and Co as resistance instead of Terrorists 🤯🤔

Such bias has been prepared and integrated since at least a decade or 2... Brainwashing the western world.

I just tested a French European search engine on French soil. I'm disgusted.🫩

Yes, the world is dumb, stupid, etc. The anti Jew bs we've seen in the last year and a half is appealing, and the pay that appeals me most is the Kapo Jews. The "reform" zealots who have lost their way, their minds, their moral perspective.

It’s not so much that the world is dumb. It’s the fact that Israel and its citizens are brilliant in so many ways. Their technology is second to none, and man (or woman) for man, their army could kick the rest of the world’s butts. The world hates Israel because they know that they all fail in comparison.

This sort of reminds me of how when I was little any time someone picked on my my mother would say they are jealous. People have been trying to kill us for so long, I have trouble believing jealousy plays a significant role in this.

The most recent element added to antisemitism is Post- Colonialism and Post-Modernism. That makes it the perfect storm. Now everyone can hate us, both white supremacists and the woke left.

As an Israeli, this is a truly frightening time.

Hey troll, anyone seeking to justify or celebrate October 7 is a genocidal maniac, just like the attackers on that day. Wanna know what occupation looks like? Take a look back at wartime Europe in the '40s. Resistance then didn't mean slaughtering innocents in cowardly fashion either. Take a look at the charter of Hamas, for example, or any other Islamist grouping and you will find the destruction of Israel and the extermination of Jews to be a priority. Then go on to show us a functioning Arab state with a strong economy and civil rights. Please show us those who would welcome peaceful co-existence with their Jewish neighbours. Otherwise, belt up.

Thank you for such an infantile response.

So I'm justifying rape and murder committed in the name of so-called resistance now, according to your unhinged point of view? Please look in the mirror. Nothing you have spouted so far in any way justifies such utter brutality, not to mention deliberately targeting people who had promoted notions of shared peace and prosperity in the process. These were folk who had reached out in friendship groups. Perhaps, participation by Arabs was all part of creating the delusion that facilitated the October 7. Since you're the expert, you might explain.

So I repeat, show us those who would welcome peaceful co-existence.

Your one-side claims omit the story of a long history of Arab antipathy towards Jews, including collaboration with Nazi Germany towards extermination. Hamas and other groups spawned by the Muslim Brotherhood follow in their footsteps. The preferred outcome is to wipe Israel and the Jews off the map. Weirdly, the Holocaust and the persecution of Jewry across the whole of North Africa and the Middle East might have some bearing on what is happening in the present. And, pace your snide remarks, comparison with the 1940s is entirely relevant to assertions of occupation.

As for context, should we go back to 1948, 1945, 1938, 1929, 1921, or the 19th Century, or even Mohammed in the 7th Century? Take your pick.

Arab Muslims who are Israeli citizens can serve in the Knesset. Not apartheid.

The West Bank has its own borders and a government separate from the government of Israel.

Occupation is a reasonable argument, apartheid is not.

I'm muting you now, because you're simply not smart enough to use terms correctly and you're trying to demand that people believe your propaganda spin on it. You bring nothing to the table because you insist on using incorrect terminology.

It's not apartheid if it's in a different country.

I made it my business to learn, and ended up quitting my "liberal" church for their gross anti-Jewish bias in relation to 10/7. Today, I have great admiration for Israel and for all Jewish people with the courage to defend it. Am Yisrael Chai! Your defenders are stronger than your enemies.

I think people, especially young people, are susceptible to propaganda, and that Hamas (really Iran backing Hamas), are exceptionally good at propaganda. All you have to do is look at what views your average liberal college student holds - pro-Hamas, anti-capitalist Marxism, and queer ideology, three views which are fundamentally at odds with one another but which are simultaneously held by many young people today - to see which groups in the world are engaging in effective propaganda. Nothing says “I’m easily manipulated” like a “Queers for Palestine” sign.

I don’t know whether it’s pure stupidity or a mysterious Force Of Evil pulling strings from its dens in all Western universities. The aim being total collapse of the West, not just Israel. It’s super inclusive, if it exists at all. OK, I’m paranoid. But I’ve observed from afar all the points you mention in your truly excellent post. And just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean I’m wrong, as we used to say in my Boomer youth.

And I know I’m right in saying that Israel is going to stand. Whoever They are, and they may be Legion, you are just too good for them.

Billions intended for establishing excellent infrastructure, a port, water, power, but which were diverted into tunnels and armaments to attack Israel. Maybe I’m wrong. ( I was once). Maybe the billions came from Qatar for the very purpose Hamas used it for…And the Arab countries don’t welcome terrorists-except Qatar.
