One of the most frustrating aspects of the situation for those of us who support Israel is what comes out of Haaretz. It's not surprising to me that its founders came out of the USSR. A good deal of what it publishes sounds like Russian/Hamas propaganda.

Hamas are the cowards. Murdering babies and pregnant women, taking infants hostage, hiding in their tunnels while putting milkionanthey Mb purportedly represent in harm’s way to generate propaganda, cowering on hospitals. They are evil incarnate, and to the extent you support them or even fail to condemn them, so are you.

Virtually no one in Israel reads Haaretz anymore because they recognize it for the propaganda rag that it is (even though the level of writing is above the other papers). It makes most of its money from the English language edition where it supplies anti-Israel material to Jew haters who can point to it and say--look, even Israeli papers are against Israel. The Times of Israel is not much better. They mainly hire people who have little idea about what is going on in Israel and most of their analyses are wildly inaccurate. If you want to know what is going on in English I suggest the English version of Yisrael Hayom

I strongly agree with George Shay’s comment. I am appalled at what I see in Haaretz plenty of it appears to be reliant on Palestinian reporting.

Thank you John. Moving to your last point, 100%Trump should NOT have taken the 747 .. his response should have been, let’s get the job done .. Hamas out, hostages home, and gaza rid of jihad Islamism.

There’s plenty of talk of Saudi joining the Abraham accords, and now Syria has been mentioned.

BUT, there has been no mention of Qatar joining Trump’s Abraham accords. Well .. no surprise there.

Qatar are the founders and suppliers, with Iran and Turkey of Hamas. Qatar back the Muslim Brotherhood.

So a plea to POTUS & the American Authorities .. return the 747 until the job is done.

The Israeli "mainstream media" is worse than the American :mainstream media" in its coverage of all Israeli domestic and foreign political issues Times of Israel is Haaretz for Dummies

‘HaAretz’ is a foreign subversive NGO disguised as a newspaper.

Amalek is portrayed as the fraternal enemy in the Midrash, a primordial source of evil animated by a rage against the possessing and settling of the land of Israel. Amalek was and is the anti-Zionist Jew

🚨 To Israelis: Get Out While You Can. 🚨

You are living on stolen land, protected by an empire in decline, surrounded by resistance you cannot crush forever. You’ve turned historic Palestine into a fortress of apartheid and blood—but no wall, no Iron Dome, no propaganda can shield you from the consequences.

Your leaders just provoked Iran into full-scale war. Nowhere is safe. Tel Aviv is burning. Gaza is rubble. The world sees the truth—and it’s turning.

This is your wake-up call:

💥 End the occupation.

💥 Leave Palestine.

💥 Go back to your real homelands—Europe, Russia, America—before it’s too late.

There is no future in empire, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing.

There is no peace without justice.

Leave now, or stay and face the fire of history. 🔥

The silly criticism of Haaretz (or any other Israeli media outlet) completely misses the point. Israel like any other democracy has media with perspectives all over the map and thats a good thing, not a bad thing. The actual problem is the Israeli government, not the Israeli media - the Israeli government through unbelievable levels of incompetence and negligence has completely ceded the information battlefield to our enemies for literally decades. And the terrible results in terms of cratering public perception is exactly what one would expect when one side has spent decades investing heavily in an information war and the other side has done nothing.

I couldn’t find AlJazeera clip of Hamas in hospital but found one of Palestinian telling AlJazeera reporter Hamas is hiding among the patients. The reporter cuts him off.

The clip Al Jazeera aired and took down were you referring to the clip of Hamas taking refugees into hospital?

Haaretz is the New York Times of Israel. That’s says everything you need to know about Haaretz. The New York Times hates the United States the same as Haaretz hates Israel.

While not a fan of Haaretz, one of the main aspects of a democracy is the “Freedom of the Press” . Reporting inaccuracies is a cancer within all media and bias is bias. But, let’s at least applaud Israel that it has counterpoints, the ability to criticize itself and its government without fatal consequences as would be the case in nearly all Arab countries.

No different than Fox News vs. MSNBC in the US.
