Multiple signs suggest that Israel is winning the war against Hamas, but ultimate victory will come when both the terror group and Benjamin Netanyahu's government both lay down their arms.
Makes interesting and balanced reading.....but spoils when it starts sounding like a propaganda piece for the anti-Netanyahu brigade. And please wake up....the war of attrition will not end soon, irrespective of the protagonists. The West will always be duplicitous, and the Quran followers end game is Israel's destruction, Hamas or no Hamas. Al -Takiya will be in full play. So do not talk in terms of Western civilisation.....that naivete sows the seeds of the obliteration of Israel.
Let us not forget for a moment that Israel is only in the incipient stage of a much broader regional conflict. The West, especially the US, just wants this to “go away.” The end game for Israel is so much more than defeat of Hamas. Sound victory over Iran, Hezbollah, and Houthi forces as well as Hamas and other Palestinian factions, and whatever new border definitions arise out of ensuing peace agreements (albeit temporary), is the ultimate end game. This is clearly a regional war already, whether the US can or wants to see it. The danger for Israel is being led down a path of concessions steered by Hezbollah and a very biased UN which shoehorn its ability to project forces across a regional front in real time. But on the battlefield there is no question of the IDF’s ability to win. If only the politicians can coalesce unity in the face of so many pressures and influences.

Netanyahu declined such a plea deal not that long ago. I hope it is offered to him again and that he accepts it, although doing so would be an admission of culpability in multiple senses.
Criticism and disagreements over Netanyahu's policies are wholly legitimate. But having listened to Alan Dershowitz' and Carolyn Glick's detailed analyses of the legal cases against Netanyahu, I came away convinced that these cases are contrived and without merit. They strongly resemble the kinds of cases that have been concocted in the States to undermine Trump's electability.

We in South Africa are also under a corrupt government under Cyril Ramaphosa. It is quite abhorrent to put these together as ‘both’ as the terror-groups goal is to destroy and eliminate the Jewish State of Israel while at the ultimate contrary Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is fighting for Israel to win the war, release the hostages, protect Israels citizens and still develop the country for the good of Israel and the world.
No human leader is perfect, please look at the intentions of the heart and stand firmly for those who stand with Israel. Failing on eachother is not helpful at all.
