Israel has emerged as the new protector/leader of the Middle East. As it should be. Going forward (post-Trump), Israel and the Middle East will never again rely on America; America has proven fickle depending on who is in office (as has most of the Western world) and if a future terrorist entity threatens Israel and/or the New Middle East, it will fall on Israel to eliminate the terrorists quickly and efficiently without counting on Western "allies" (Erdogan, read the room for heaven's sake!). The strong new alliances coming to the Middle East (starting with Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan) will support Israel as their protector; the past 19 months have given them confidence that Israel can do the job alone. And they all know Israel will be the leaders in the economic, spiritual and political renaissance coming to the Middle East and will save the M.E. from a nuclear Iran. What will Israel gain for saving the Middle East? The peace and security they have always wanted, which means keeping all the disputed territories. Once all this becomes apparent to the rest of the world--that a wonderful new Middle East resembling the UAE/Dubai is emerging--the haters will STILL hate on Israel and the Jews ("But the Palestinians!!! They need their land back!!!"), even while they witness the Abraham Accords being signed and civilians celebrating in the streets of Lebanon and Iran and Syria (and quite possibly in Gaza). It will be fun to watch the Israel haters in the world try justify their continued anti-Israel positions while peace, prosperity and co-existence start to blossom rapidly in the M.E. There will be no thanks for saving the world from a nuclear Iran coming from the rest of the world (which will, in a few years, have more terrorist problems than the Middle East).
So do I, really badly. I can hardly wait. I expected it to happen nearly a year ago and I'm getting really impatient. And the hostages!!! So awful. I am happy to be alive to witness the New Middle East unfold. HISTORIC in so many ways. I actually *knew* this all was going to happen when Iran launched those 300 missiles at Israel a year ago and for the first time in history, Arab countries helped to PROTECT Israel. Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan--working together to help protect Israel from the attack (instead of joining Iran). Unheard of! And now we are soooooo close to witnessing peace and cooperation unfold between the Arab nations and Israel, and the Muslim Reform Movement take over as the promoted Islamic ideology instead of the Islamist ideology. One UAE bigwig said several months ago, "It is safer now to be a visible Jew in the UAE than it is to be a visible Jew in New York City." And in the not-too-distant future, the same will be said about all of the Middle East. The Western Countries, including America, are going down a terrible path that Trump is trying to arrest, but I think it's too late. Trump might slow down America's decline, but for several reasons, I think it is much too late for the West.
Here's a link: https://muslimreformmovement.org/. This has taken hold in the UAE and is working beautifully. Saudi Arabia and Jordan have taken big steps toward this as well; for instance, banning the Muslim Brotherhood (which is banned in all the moderate Arab countries--but the MB are still functioning in the West with offices and lobbyists. They even have a chapter in Washington, DC!!) Al Jazeera news is banned in those countries, too (but not in the West). Saudi Arabia has also banned the teaching of antisemitism (as has the UAE) and in the UAE, haters are prosecuted vigorously. They take it very seriously. When that young rabbi was killed in Dubai a few months ago (by Uzbekistan terrorists), the UAE sent a delegation of representatives to Israel to attend the funeral and apologize profusely for the murder on their soil. Pro-Palestinian marches are banned in most of these countries, too. Historic. Are you seeing the trend now--the opposite directions the West and Saudi Arabia are going?
What has been inspiring is how the entire nation of Israel united in response to the Oct 7 atrocities and fought back, putting aside their differences and with a civic spirit I've not witnessed anywhere else.
Lions of Judah is not an expression, it's a reality as Israel's enemies are finding out.
Allow me to add a few more outstanding examples of Israel's weapons ingenuity so that Iron Dome's siblings get the credit they too deserve:
Trophy Active Defense (and its rival Iron Fist): these protect tanks and other vehicles from missiles and guns and account for the difference in tank losses between Gaza and Ukraine. Not only are Israel's Merkava (Mk 4,5) tanks using it but they're also standard in the latest models of US M1 tanks, German Leopard 2A8 tanks, UK Challenger 3 tank upgrade and Korean K2 tanks.
There's also Air launched ballistic missiles, the 77lb SteadyCopter unmanned drone that can fire a rifle with sniper precision and the Blue Whale unmanned submarine that can carry out 30 day missions.
EXCELLENT!!! and this is EXQUISITE "What Israel has done since October 7th is nothing short of earth-shattering (no pun intended): transforming trauma into transformation, setbacks into superiority, and ancient threats into modern irrelevance."
All this and yet the "asajews" are still profoundly ashamed and in solidarity with the pro hamas youth and academia and celebrities. It's confounding. Israel do what you have to.....
And the reason for Israel’s supremacy is its determination to survive .. to survive 77 years so far, in a neighbourhood of dysfunctional countries, whilst creating a marvel of a nation, not without its own problems, but a light unto the nations. Israel deserves respect and admiration. After all, there are more Arabs living in Israel, than Jews in Europe.
Good to have all this information in one article for historical purposes. Just in case someone wants to reference it in the future. Also a good pat on the back is always nice.
Although this seems like a meschuganah thing to say, it seems that Israel has a unique ability to benefit from war. Even during the present war with Hamas, et al, Israel invents and tests weapons, techniques and intelligence. For them, there always something to be learned from conflict. Their inventiveness enables them to fight the next round with more efficiency and less death for their military and people. After all, if you are forced to fight a war it is always better to win.
I don’t mean to take anything away from the people that have devoted their lives, and often literally sacrificed them, to protect the people and the land of Israel against enemies, BUT…
But, it is the G-d of Israel that, ultimately, has preserved the Chosen People, brought them back into the Promised Land, preserved them against their myriad enemies, and caused them to ‘benefit from war’.
In all these things, He is progressively fulfilling ancient prophecies from the Tanakh. The unfolding process of fulfillment will continue, until every single element of every single promise and/or prophecy is completely fulfilled, in exquisite, literal (not figurative) detail.
It breaks my heart to see so many of His Chosen People fail to acknowledge, thank, honor, and praise their G-d; the One who is the true source of their very lives; the only true hope for their present and future salvation, and the One who determines their eternal destinies.
It breaks my heart to see so many of His people embrace the false philosophy (religion) of Secular Humanism, New Age beliefs, or any one of the myriad forms of Religious syncretism prevalent in the world today.
Of course, my heart breaks and grieves continually for the foolishness, ignorance, sins, and evils of the world at large; of all mankind (myself included) - not simply that of the Chosen People. But there is a special sense in which I find it particularly tragic in both the Jewish People, and professing Christians.
At the end of the day, despite everything that is wrong in the world, I am sustained, encouraged, have hope, draw joy, and grow in capacity to love from, and for, the Spirit of G-d, the Word of G-d, and the G-d of the Word. And I hope, pray, and trust that more and more of those who are ‘the people of the Book’, come to understand their true need, repent of their failing to live as they are called to, and surrender their lives to the true Source that meets that need; now and forever more.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet, a light for my path.”
Psalms 119:105 (Tanakh)
And;
“For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts…”
Bravo Mossad. Too bad the same can't be said about the totally incompetent Shin Bet. Bar should have resigned in Oct 8. It was his job to oversee Gaza and after all this time they still have no idea where the hostages are.
Genuine question as an outsider and shallow observer of the region: Israel's retaliation has obviously deadly, but what evidence is there that Israel is creating deterrence?

Amen, let’s pray for all this to be true!❤️
Well said! I so want to see a strike against Iran's nuclear capabilities! Soon!

I never heard of the Muslim Reform Movement. That's sounds promising. As far as the West, I don't know. I can't quite give up yet.

Of course! This is mind-blowing! Thank you for letting me know. I'll explore the link when I have more time.
“…a future with stability and power, not with chaos and decay…”. Amen. This is better than Ian Fleming…
It’s good to hear positive news coming out of Israel 🇮🇱
May it be so…….

One small correction. Ismail Haniyeh was killed with his male lover who was traveling as Haniyeh's bodyguard.

There will always be those types. What can you do?

Look at a current real-time picture of Gaza. When we get done with it there won't be anywhere for Hamas to hide.
