This is just to factual and common-sensical for a confused and literally insane worldwide society to comprehend.

Some get it though!

You can do nothing against the truth.

Guys, guys, guys … this is not just a Jewish thing. Wherever people stand in the way of the revolutionary demolition machine, power alone is the tool deployed. These people do not believe in a “truth”. They believe only in power. It’s not “antisemitism” - it’s “anti free citizens who are capable of defending themselves”. Israel is filled with free citizens who REFUSE to self extinguish so that revolutionaries can replace them with a Marxist or Islamic society. It’s the refusal to give way to their desires that causes the enmity. Today it’s the Jews. Tomorrow it’s Catholic Frenchmen or Germans. After that it’ll be Evangelical Christians in the USA.

See the big picture.

"Today it’s the Jews. Tomorrow it’s Catholic Frenchmen or Germans. After that it’ll be Evangelical Christians in the USA."

Today it's indeed the Jews who are loathed and harried and murdered. But yesterday and the yesterdays before it they were likewise loathed and harried, driven from their homes, and murdered.

To be sure, other peoples of the earth have been loathed and dispossessed and persecuted.

This Gentile has no doubt, though, that tomorrow the antisemites will still be at it.

I am unsure of your point.

To reiterate my point, the Jews get an extra helping of hate, to be sure, but other groups receive a similar kind of hate. The Jews are especially prominent in this dark measure, but they’re not alone.

Well argued I suppose but still Americans are being asked (forced?) to take a side by sending tax money and munitions to one side of this conflict and many Americans don’t have a horse in the race or support the other side - which is their God given right.

I love free speech and support your exercising it and I wish those that support Israel well. I just wish they wouldn’t involve others in that support.

Lot a kids getting killed lately. Tough sell to ask someone to pay for it.

The U.S. has given some $25 billion to the Palestinians and helps fund UNRWA (the Palestinian refugee agency) to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

And tough to emphasize with kids when the only source of this data is the world’s fifth-most active terror group. Every death is a tragedy but Hamas has a historical habit of lying out of its two front teeth. Just sayin.

Every human is created in the image of God. It’s amazing how cavalier people can be about the death of “the other”. Look around and see a five year old in your “in group” and imagine them blown to bits. It’s horrible. It’s just a land dispute that began in the last century. Not my issue or concern but I’m forced to pay for one side’s military and send the actual bombs to be dropped on a defenseless unarmed population. At some point it will hopefully sicken even folks like you and then we can start to work towards a just peace. Maybe a one or two state solution? Current situation is untenable long term and not good for anyone.

Expand full comment

It is not “just a land dispute” and you are not just paying to fund “one side.” I am sorry for your frustrations and perhaps Future of Jewish can help you learn more about the current and historical situation.

Israel Haters is a sect that uses and manipulates a mixture of pseudo-ideologies.

They attach anything that can cause negative emotions to Israel, without caring about truth, logic and facts.

It is useless to explain something by citing facts and using logic. They become hysterical and begin to hate even more.

It is difficult for them to understand how they, so good and correct, can be on the side of pure evil. They run away from this thought, go into a parallel distorted reality, and I don’t even know how to get them back from there.

Thank you for the work that the authors of this article have done.

The double standard is endless.

Expand full comment

The never ending story. You can counter every one of those statements! The answer will be NOTHING that makes sense. These idiots will always blame Israel, Israel will always be wrong in their eyes. They are truly repulsive!

Excellent. Thank you.

Brilliant article about the Jewish double standard. Unfortunately, those who hate the Jews will believe none of it. Thank you Zach and Joshua for an incredible piece of writing.

I tell myself that I'm not writing and posting for the hard-core haters. I'm doing it for the fresh, squishy Western masses who could still expand and alter their adopted perspective. Those who've been fed and embraced a steady diet of Naziesque propaganda for decades won't be able to admit they are wrong.

I maintain hope that they will, but right now the climate is such that it may be doubtful, but I do hear you.

Thank you! Hopefully those who are not hateful but merely ignorant can awaken to the reality of the hypocrisy upon exposure to it.

Exactly. It's a compelling list of double-standards, and there are hearts and minds out there that are not yet locked.

I will continue to be hopeful. Thank you for an outstanding article.

You forgot “there’s a fuel shortage in Gaza! We had to disconnect the incubators” because apparently those rockets to Israel fly on their own…

There are a lot of threads on World Israel News.

I will be promoting this piece there, and it would be good idea if some of you did the same.

It's a pre built audience for Future of Jewish in general.

Thank you!

You are welcome.

I forgot to give United With Israel a mention.

They both have lots of articles and a thread of devoted readers for each one, so there is a lot of potential recruitment for Future of Israel.

Appreciate it John!!

Zach, this may be the single best thing I've read about the situation in Israel. You connected the dots between all the narratives beautifully.

Thanks, Alex. The bad actors intentionally try to obfuscate the truth by way of their incessant and egregious claims; it becomes difficult for those who are new to this conflict to find a sense of clarity. I hope this piece serves to cut through the noise.

It is so true and it enrages me, I know this, you know this, most Jewish people know this but it's the others-- all over the world that need to know!!!!

Absolutely and dare I say, many Jews in the West also need to be reminded of this.

This itemizes and sums up all of it. Brilliantly put.

Yes, very well stated. Notice, It is ALL about THEM and their troubles and not a 'humanitarian' word about US. We are apparently just nasty and mean villains. Or worse, we deserve no human rights, according to them. Let them

languish in (Aza)zel.

P.s. Whi will cover the damages here? Who will compensate thousands of Israelis whose homes were razed, that left them with nothing? The bereaved, parents, widows, orphans, displaced and evacuated living in makeshift temporary dwellings? Who will pay for psychological care for all of them and the hundreds of soldiers who've seen action as well as the devestation? I cannot even fathom, remotely begin to imagine, what the hostages' families are going through and those who were released will, till the end

of their days. Who will help us besides our own selves?

We help ourselves, as best we can, as always.

You are correct and I agree. In the US news, it's as if all of what you've said has disappeared. It's the Palestinians this, Hamas that. It's absent from our politician's minds as well.

You got it all.

Perfect, just perfect! This sort of piece is just so useful for those of us who live outside Israel in a sometimes hostile environment and try carefully and sensitively to write as far as we can in sympathy and support for our Jewish friends and Israel. Thank you.
