Oftentimes, rabbis get a bad wrap.
For example, when I interviewed Rabbi Steven Burg on our podcast, and I told him that we should think about “rebranding” the term rabbi, he intuitively thought I was insinuating that we should get rid of the moniker.
(In actuality, I was trying to make the case that we should rebrand the term to “rebbe” because it sounds more intriguing, but that’s another conversation for another day.)
Whether we call them rabbis or rebbes, these are some of the wisest people I’ve come across, and their knowledge and wisdom transcend Judaism.
