We live in Middle England.

We used to enjoy a trip to London - theatre / ballet / opera / fine dining.

We don't do that any more.

In 2016, our very own Mamdani was elected Mayor.

London is no longer safe to visit, particularly at night, particularly if one is white.

London's violent crime, knife crime, gun crime, serious crime - all up.

Hate Marches by thousands of Islamic supporters - all up.

Pakistani / Muslim rape gangs - he won't hold an enquiry . . .

Antisemitic violence - all up.

Antisemitism generally - all up.

Cost of everything - all up.

Congestion Charges - all up.

Emissions charges - all up.

And get this - even while things have visibly and statistically got worse and worse, this creature has now been elected three times. When you examine the demographics of our capital city - the answer is obvious.

Best of luck to you in the Big Apple - you're going to need it!

Yes. How easy it is to be Socialist with other people's money. The playbook is familiar: A slow road to penury as the internal currency's value is debauched, and then lost. This is where we are now in The UK. In Trump's America the story will be VERY different. Well done and good luck. President Trump, remember to keep The Working Class onside, with real programs to alleviate poverty and use them to replace foreign workers with home talent from The Working Class: Demographics and Poverty Alleviation in one step. We are about to get the same here. Do NOT vote for the Nazis, for they MEAN WAR and mass murder. But Hard Right Demographics does NOT imply Nazism. Foreign workers are Guest Workers. Then they GO BACK HOME. Demographics is about to be answered across The West. Well done, President Trump. Come the Hour, Come the Man.

My prayers are for you and what was once the great United Kingdom. It will have to get even worse before it gets better. When I see videos of London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Tower Hamlet, it's hard to believe it's the England I remember.

Diane Steiner's avatar

You are welcome. When I see what goes on in England and how the Met has hands off of the "new population," and arrests the Patriots, it makes me so very angry, but I have faith, it will change. Bless you and your family.

Thank you - that was a good read, and pretty much on the money as far as recent inspiring Western Leaders are concerned.

In fact, over the last thirty years, most have been competing between pathetic and nauseating or both

The frightening question is whether this is also the smile of the new Democratic Party. If it is, 2028 could be a reckoning for American Jews.

Nathan Brown's avatar

I would have thought a reckoning for most Americans too .. If only they would wake up to this mumbo jumbo leftie democratic luvvy nonsense.

Danny Rosenstein's avatar

Agree completely - sheer madness - but it’s the Jewish community that is especially vulnerable.

Israel has already begun simulating rescue operations of tens of thousands of diaspora Jews at a time. The newly appointed Mossad chief has vast tactical military background and expertise. The Israeli public and media discuss this broadly. The only ones who it seems are not talking about the dangerous diaspora climate are many diaspora Jews, many who themselves have opted for anti Israel stances.

Before (and after) the 2024 election, The Democrats had a "who we serve" page on their web site. It mentioned that they served women, and every racial/ethnic group EXCEPT for white people, but there was no mention of serving men or White people,

Being that the Dems presently shun men and White people, their dismissal of Jews should come as no surprise.

Mamdani leads a movement of losers and those who cater to losers and it seems they outnumber the rest of us. The Jew-hatred was obvious, right out there front and center. And yet he won. It didn’t help that Sliwa (with Jewish children!) wouldn’t exit the race out out some narcissistic pride, nor that Coumo had a horrible history.

I’ll divide the losers into two overlapping camps. Yes, there are true Jew-haters, losers who identify with the fake ‘palestinians’, ignoring the fact that the latter’s plight is of their own making. I’m sure these losers project their own miserable lives on the ‘pals’ and blame the successful Jews for their own bad decisions. Then we have a huge number of mainly youngish folks who came to NYC to pursue their dreams, armed with their degrees in women’s studies, who simply cannot make it there (or probably anywhere, with apologies to Sinatra). They can’t afford to live in NYC but they won’t give up their pipe-dream and so the promise of free stuff (paid for by the “rich”) is too good to pass up. The losers won, but everyone lost. Especially the Jews of New York.

Behind the smile is a smirk. A smirk of derision and hate. Just like the Bronx Bartender who hates America

The problem is not only that this black- hearted man wears a phoney smile in order to disarm his future victims, it is also that so many are taken in by it because of their ignorance and self-flattery. This smile is another form of virtue signalling and of the lying to the enemy in order to get him to let down his guard. It is tragic that two generations of Americans are taken in by this, are unable to see through this. Previous generations taught their children not to take candy from strangers. That basic cautionary exercise has somehow been lost on two generations who have been indoctrinated to never grow up.

Having had an encampment on our corner for two years and on a daily basis to scoop the men's foul effluences and disinfect my scanty garden (and tell me, how do you disinfect soil?), and then suddenly they were gone, I live in terror of their return; I don't think I can do it anymore.

If I had a gun, I'd have shot them. I'm not proud of it.

But this, now:

I pity the homeless up to a point because they are obviously broken human beings but how they got that way is a long and complicated story. What is clear by now however is that the powers that be do not really want to help them but rather to create conditions that make their numbers grow. And all the money that is thrown at the problem ($70,000 per capita in San Francisco) goes not into helping them but into the pockets of the bureaucrats and activists who are supposedly championing them.

He’s installed his trojan horse in NYC and pretty soon he will open up the side door and the horrid members of his transition team will come tumbling out, all jazzed up to wreak havoc on all the residents of the city. Really really sad development for the great city.

Martin Sinkoff's avatar

As usual, Josh, 100% on target. Mamdani is phony to the core. Awful for New York and for the Jewish community generally. 💪🏻⭐🙏🏻

Sam Hilt's avatar

Right on target. This is the new playbook. Wear a sheep mask and they'll let you in the pen.

This is greatest stratagem of the enemies of the West since Lenin invented the 'useful idiot.'

What we see is a smile and a crooked neck. We cannot mind-read how President Trump will handle it. We know that Mamdani will need federal money and we know that President Trump already expressed that. That’s when it will start being interesting.

Excellent essay! Let's see how long Jessica Tisch remains as NYPD Chief of Police. I'm guessing not long. Let's see if the NYPD actually attempts to arrest Netanyahu when he arrives in NYC for some UN or other event. One need only read the Jacobin to learn much about the politics and antisemitism emanating from the DSA.

Moses Maimonides's avatar

I doubt that the NYPD wants to tussle with Netanyahu's IDF/Mossad-trained bodyguards.

Didn't the Jewish fire chief quit the day after Mamdani was elected?

Trump, like the Godfather in that movie series, believes in keeping his friends close, and his enemies closer.

As always, insightful. But enough preaching to the choir. Islamists have shown it is never too early or impolite to mount “resistance”. Can he be impeached even before he’s inaugurated?

the Muslim brotherhood adopted Gramsci's "long march through the institutions" ages ago

Look to England to see where this is heading. The democratic party intends to run this jihad clown for president. they have long ago decided Islam will win and have lined up to make obescience. The Catholic church will usher in the Chrislam and then hey presto here I am living the book of revelation getting beheaded for breathing while Jewish by democrats and "Christians"..... I have seen the future babies, and it's murder.

I can’t get over the stupid bucktoothed grin he pasted on during the debates. He looked (and looks) ludicrous.

There is absolutely nothing disarming about his pasty fake smile face.
