I’m not following the news so closely. So, I only have what I read on Israel as it’s published by you, Joshua. What did Biden mean when he said “Israeli extremists”?

You got it right Joshua with your examples of the US deserting leaders in the countries you mentioned destroying any trust that might have been. Let's not forget the chaos the US wreaked in Iraq, killing Hussein and his sons, in addition to many "civilians." If there was something positive about Hussein it was that he knew his people and how to keep them in line. But what the US did was unleash a hornet's nest of terrorism waiting to happen, and at the same time, emboldened Iran. You are correct that the US government does not seem to grasp that religious ideology and money will get them anywhere. They are not like us and the more the US panders to the Arabs, the more the US will be taken advantage of in a way we are seeing now. As you stated in the comment by Eliot Abrams, the words democracy, human rights, and liberty are missing. Why would we believe any of those things could occur in Gaza. It's because politicians have such hubris that they think every country wants to be like the US and embrace Western values. It just isn't so. As for the Executive Order, it did stop short of sanctions but was done, coincidentally, the day after Cori Bush and Rashida Tliab complained about Congress not wanting Hamas terrorists to be allowed to come to the US. Again, Biden is doing a dangerous dance because it's an election year and he thinks by appeasing the Michigan voters, he will win that state (a very crucial win for ether opponent). Unfortunately, Israel is tied into these election year decisions, but for Israel they must continue to do what they're doing for victory and security for its people. Am Yisrael Chai.

This ridiculous action is despicable! Biden is a weak old man who is approaching senility. He is desperate for young democratic votes. He is incapable of a balanced decision. How he is allowed to stand for the presidential office is anathema. Nothing sensible is being taken into consideration. The idea is nonsensical

Consider reading Thomas Friedman‘s article in the New York Times today. If the United states set guidelines for what a new government in the West Bank would have to do in order to have recognition and a relationship with Israel then there is a greater likelihood of success. In the long run an improved situation would be better for the Palestinians and better for Israel. If things improve economically for the Palestinians in the West Bank then countries like Saudi Arabia could participate in the revitalization. We have to be hopeful that change, even forced change for the greater good , could have more positive results. America is in the position to help facilitate such a change. Why not encourage it?

Because history says that the Americans have never been aim to solve this conflict, and they’ve tried many times before.

I'm so saddened by the American responses as depicted in this story. I Am Yisrael Chai. Israel has THE right (note I'm using the article 'the,' not 'a' right) to defend itself and her population.
