Maybe the IDF needs a quiet border while it secures Lebanon and Judea and Samaria. More likely, there is American pressure and Israel's history of accommodation to peace plans, of which the one with Lebanon is one more example. There is no peace not only because Hamas is left to fester, but also because Palestinians do not want to make peace with Israel. Ordinary Palestinians do not want to make peace. They prefer a dozen nakbas. So the achievement of peace for Israel means kibush vgerush, conquer and expel.
There is also another Hidden Hand very much involved with the situation in The Middle East: The re-formed Nazi Party. They met in 2014 to discuss support for Hamas from Berlin and London. We are a group of monitors who listened to plans for arming Islamist Militias for ‘rolling internecine Genocidal Warfare’ in The Middle East explicitly using Hamas and the terrorist Militia groups on Israel’s Northern border.
