Our Religion is a Religion made up of many races and Ethnicities, all of whom are Jewish. Do not make the mistake of claiming Jews are a single Race. We are of many and of one. Also, Humanity has many Religions, G-ds and races, all of whom are Equally Valid because each person is equally valid: These essentially Religious mysteries, and the Otherness we have not asked for as we journeyed across the World and its many peoples, have kept alive the ceaseless intellectual and spiritual life of enquiry which is a hallmark of Judaism: As healthy and as vigorous as it ever was!

Point taken about many races and ethnicities amongst jews, that each human is valid of himself and deserves respect. Mmmm.. many gods…? we all at some stage have to personally choose whom we serve spiritually , . ‘Know before whom you stand’ ?

This is most relevant. And for each person, the path may be different. I, for one, was raised as a "bagels and lox" Jew in New York's suburb of Long Island. It was imbued with Jewish history, Yiddishisms, immigrant grandparents, and lots of cultural Jewish accessories (I say accessories on purpose). As a young adult, married with children, we morphed into a Conservadox lifestyle that included Shabbas observance, kashrut (Conservative style), yeshiva for the kids - sometimes Conservative Day School, etc. And what I got out of that era in my life was a far deeper understanding of what the Jewish values really are. I no longer participate in that life, BUT the nuanced knowledge and Jewish texture will always be with me. As a rational atheist I see nothing wrong with cherry picking from the Torah - we all do it anyway. Is it spiritual? Not sure. But I can not be separated from am Yisroel.

Damned right the Golden Age is here. Even though Dylan strummed his guitar to some positive effect, there was no Messy Times when he assured everyone the times they were a-changing. But Pure Enlightentainment is now here and giving hope and joy to all humanity, starting with The Tribe.

Hashem knows what He is doing; and what He's doing is what He has always done: laid out a table in the face of our myriad enemies, challenging us to build beauty and Life in the face of Shaitan's evil.
