This article makes several good points, but if it meant to say that opposing a Pal state puts one "on the fringes," I'd have to disagree. I used to envision a 2-state solution, but Pals convinced me that's not what they want. After rejecting offer after offer for their own state, we're reminded of the hapless guy who asks a woman out on a date 6 times, always to be turned down. At what point does he realize it's not happening? The 2-state "solution" ship has sailed. The disastrous Gaza pullout was the last nail in the coffin and 10/7 was the burial.

The Israeli government only allows one person one gun and 50 bullets because they're afraid we would overthrow them.

The shame of the Israeli people is their government, irrespective of political party in control, denies them an equivalent of the American Second Amendment and worse they allow the restriction on such a G-d given inalienable right. It is an abomination that in the homeland of the Jews, Jews are not free to protect themselves, their families, their livelihoods or their property. They are forced to rely on their government and look how that’s worked out for them; the body count grows ever higher. Israel can never be a homeland for me because I have more freedom as an American to ensure my own security against those who would do me harm than I would have in Israel.

What I find funny here is that this article fails to even mention the genocide being committed in Gaza by the Israeli government when bringing up the Pro-Palestinian movement. A movement that is practically defined by the public's disapproval of slaughtered women and children. While I know it is definitely easy to spew propaganda on Pro - Palestinians being radicals who support the destruction of Israel, maybe we should question why they would be against a regime that has proven how deadly and oppressive they can and will continue to be.

Palestinians were never a distinct national or ethnic identity just as an Ohioan or New Yorker is not a distinct national or ethnic identity. It's ridiculous to think otherwise. They're just Arabs that were living in that area of the Ottoman Empire.

the disturbers have been braying "we don't want no two state , we want all of it" in the street style jargon because they are "of the street" and they are "people of color" who reject the white man's notion of proper English racial imperialism.....they don't care about the record...not since the various British proposals, not since the UN GA recommendations....approved....not since Oslo that their "sole legitimate" representatives made a show of approving....not since the barbarism of Oct. 7th which instead of being found repugnant....has been celebrated....and continues to be celebrated by the progessive Left by the Marxists, the Trotskyites, theMaoists, people who regard NK as the center of what a society should look like.....forget about bridging any chasm with this.....Israel Alone as BH Levi wrote....and JEWS ALONE too.....I too no longer support a two state solution....a confederation with the Jordanian kingdom....they get to have a flag , seat at the UN, team at the Olympics....that is their state.

So do Palestinians not exist, are they really Jordanians or are they South Syrians? It never seems very clear. I scratch my head whenever someone pro-Israel tries to deconstruct the Palestinian identity because surely it is better to keep them divided and isolated from other Arabs? Was the era of Pan-Arabism such a great time that these people want to bring it back?

I say welcome back Philistines, Canaanites, Phoenicians, Babylonians, Akkadians, Edomites and more! Muslim or not (preferably not), the world was safer and more interesting with you in it, compared to the sea of faux-Arabs we have today.
