You are correct, I am not Jewish. I am a Canadian fella of English/Scottish ancestry. I have a reasonable knowledge of history of the area back to ancient times (more than most you would meet on the street), but always much more to learn. A Substack I follow happened to quote a piece from this Substack today about people calling Jesus a Palestinian ( as a minor history nerd that is disgraceful ) , I looked around and became a subscriber , I have enjoyed the comments sections too . Thank you for giving me more depth on Israel and the Jewish people . I look forward to learning much more.

You are correct, I am not Jewish. I am a Canadian fella of English/Scottish ancestry. I have a reasonable knowledge of history of the area back to ancient times (more than most you would meet on the street), but always much more to learn. I like your writing and the positive messaging in some of your pieces. When I read a couple of your posts I felt I learned something so I decided to subscribe. Learning is why we are all here I hope!

Also, please feel free to ask any and all the questions you want. Clearly there are a lot of people pretty immersed in who we are on this site so if you have questions, please don't ever be ashamed to ask. But i warn you one thing - not for nothing the expression is ask 4 Jews a question and you WILL 100% get 10 different, and diametrically opposed answers. And the sad part is, each one of those answers WILL have some element of reality and the truth to it. So ask away, but be prepared to have to study up and think hard to make sense of some or all of the answers you might get :)

Bravo. Mak. And count my country among them. Mark Carney is a disaster as far as Jews are concerned. I truly worry for Canada's Jewish community, esp as I'm one of them!
