They do read this substack, and like all Jewish-based ones, it get trolls and haters. I mean, it's not enough that there are millions of social media pages where the Jew haters can have their orgies of hate, but they have to invade Jewish pages, too? Yeah, they do--they are that sick. On the other hand, there are quite a few wonderful Christians who read and comment here regularly--and they are very supportive and loving.
Yes on FB I note that pro Israel posts have their share of " it's not a country...free palestine" with the little plo banner emoji. Cute. Once in a while I reply....mostly I do what the trolls do for pro Israel posts.....I do the laughing emoji to mock their hate filled posts.
The haters can’t pierce the bubble and those inside the bubble dont listen to the chatter outside anyway. Opposing views right or wrong is framed as anti semitism. No doubt this post only shouts the story from one angle. That’s fine. And the audience in the bubble laps it up and is listening coz we want to only see it from this side.
I liked the explanation.....it doesn't begin the first of the Hebrew calendar months....why? I still don't quite understand that. I attended a Chabad dinner ...my first....it's a mitzvah to be with Jews......the food....it varied.....it's not going to be written in the book of great meals....but I found what to eat. I always have to defend kosher meals....the only kind I ate as a kid and all delicious....even my mother's home made gefilte fish.....L Shana Tova....not hard to say for gentiles or Jews who are mostly ignorant of Hebrew.....no rasping or clearing your throat sounds beloved by the self deprecating Jewish comedians I grew up.
