Absolutely brilliant article, everyone should share that text in the public section of newspapers, and in every possible public media. Can you tell the story more honestly?
But the world does not want to hear the truth, does not want to look the truth in the eye, because it would reveal how they themselves have enabled terrorism against the house of Israel through lies.
All of this has been blessed by the UN, and without the UN it wouldn't have been possible.
Well thought through article. Thank you. I will certainly share it. I do not disagree with one word.
I would suggest adding a paragraph or two regarding the demographics of the territory, if these are available, even anecdotally. I believe Mark Twain didn't find too many people in "Palestine" when he travelled through it in the mid 1800s and many Arabs came to find jobs there when Jews who had also immigrated needed an additional labour force.
"For the privileged activists screaming the loudest, “Palestine” isn’t a humanitarian crisis; it’s a fashion statement. A trendy cause with merch, social clout, and a built-in sense of purpose for people who’ve never faced real hardship. With no real stakes of their own, they latch onto a conflict they barely understand — not to solve it, but to flaunt their moral superiority. It’s not activism; it’s a glorified hobby, one they’ve mistaken for an identity."
Seeing this exact phenomenon all around me is making me feel extremely isolated. Thank you for your sanity.
An excellent article that supports every point you made with historical facts, but let's face it, you're speaking to the choir. These protesters would have to be sat down and given a master class in history. Unfortunately, many, would disregard it as "Jewish propaganda," and decry that those things didn't happen or those quotes are lies. Their idelogy consumes and closes their minds. I thank you because you've given me more ammunitition to give back whenever I hear this Hamas propaganda. Well done!
When I shared it originally on my Substack it got reshared on some pro-Palestinian and left-wing pages. I received a lot of vitriol and abuse — I think I really hit a nerve. Almost half of the comments were from pro-Palestinian activists, I engaged with the more respectful ones. At least it got a lot of eyeballs on it from outside the echo chamber!
I'm glad you did hit a nerve. They hate to hear facts and truth. I've had the most vile and hateful comments directed at me when I speak facts to these deniers. Some of the comments alluded to violence as well. It was scary and I had to take a step back and clear my head, but it's got to be said. i really enjoyed reading your essay. I'll check you out on Substack.
Receiving vitriol and abuse from these hamassholes is a badge of honor, if one chooses to give their nonsense any consideration at all. As for the more respectful ones, if Palestinian, one must realize the lies they have been told since birth and the education in hatred they receive in their schools and reinforced in their mosques, or vice versa. I am a third generation American but the American Revolution is as real and personal to me as is the suffering and oppression my ancestors experienced for generations in Poland, Romania, and Hungary. We exist in the present, experience life in the present, and so much to the detriment of Jews today in Israel and around the world, these Palestinians believe their invented history is valid and so act as if it were so.
try telling them that it is their taxes that are paying the leaders of Hamas and the PA to enjoy the splendors of Doha and major cities around the world....
I have pointed out about the Hamas leadership being wined and dined in Qatar, not about taxes, and that part of my comment had been ignored. Just the hateful responses were all I got because I supported Israel. But I do hear you loud and clear, I only wish the gullible West would get the message.
Super excellent. This one article captures so many important, defining points and facts of history. It may not change the hard-core haters, but it will certainly influence those don’t know enough but tag along on the “cool” bandwagon anyway.
Note: There’s an edit needed in the 14th paragraph: ‘This wasn’t lost on the local Arabs or Europeans, who commonly used “Palestinian” to describe Jews *leaving* in the region.’ — leaving should be living.
I have messaged future of Jewish to let them know about the typo. Unfortunately I can’t edit it and this line was added in when they republished. Thanks though!
Pals are professional victims whose national slogan should be, "Gimme, gimme, gimme!" Too bad the Romans renamed the conquered land, or today Pals would have to call themselves "Judeans." Awkward!

Yes, and because it all boils down to hating the Jews.

Fantastic quotation!

Golda kept her old passport which listed her as from ‘Palestine.’
on my substack (My Israel Story), you will find an image of the Palestinian passport of my very Jewish father.
I have my father in law's papers ... he was born in Palestine...

Excellent read! Poignant and true.

One of best pieces I’ve read on this in a while! Excellent!
Wow! Excellent!
A better explanation would be impossible.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The column was excellent the first time I read it on Lucy Tabrizi's substack, and even better with a second read on Future of Jewish.
Exactly!

I have no patience for the "Pro Palestine crowd". They are my mortal enemies.
The only desire that the so called Palestinians have is the rendering of the State of Israel Judenrein
Thank you for repeating what I have been saying. Them more times, in more places, is important.
