I hope you enjoyed this article as much as I enjoyed writing it and felt it was a 'much-needed' overview of how reactions have changed to Israel over the years. For future similar articles, please hit my named link and subscribe to me. All Best, John M.
As you point out the United Nations bears no resemblance to its original purpose. It is so corrupt and fails in every possible form. Its attitude and actions against Israel are truly evil and nonsensical. Many of
rulings are truly astonishing! It must be abolished, it does far more harm than good. Corrupt to its core!
I think the main change came with the OIC - Organization of Islamic Cooperation - and their en bloc voting. When you have 49 nations voting together all one way, it has a very biased effect. They also through threats of oil embargoes pull in many smaller Afriican nations as well. The OIC and their 'minions' have made a complete mockery of the UN.
The article correctly notes that many Arabs were attracted to the area after the Jews. One huge factor was getting malaria under control. This Jewish accomplishment made the area much more desirable.
Antisemitism is a strange zombie mind-virus that makes people act in ways against their own self-interest. We are witnessing that now. Europe is under Islamist assault and infiltration and yet... it's the Jews' fault. Irrational.
Maybe the UN never supported Israel. After the Holocaust perhaps the UN championed a partition plan to save face and then expected the newly formed State of Israel to be defeated. After all, Israel was attacked by as many as 7 different countries. The well equipped and British trained Jordanian army. The Irgun actually fought the British when Britain took a stand for Arab Jaffa.
Israel really had no proper standing army at the time.
Yes, in many ways it was something of a miracle that such a small band of people could fend off so many larger surrounding armies. Obviously, 'meant to be'. And if the Arabs had in fact paid a bit more attention to what was also obviously the 'Will of Allah', they'd have let things rest there rather than put all concerned, Arabs, Israelis and Palestinians, through repeated wars. They're simply not reading their own God's messages right, and he's punishing them for it.
The Arabs have way too much ego to accept their defeat at the hand of Israel. Plus many Muslims and Christians can't stand the Jews having the holy land when they believe in replacement theology. How's that going to work if the Jews have sovereignty and speak Hebrew there in Israel.
The defeats have already taken place, now they're trying to destroy Israel through a combination of proxy terrorism combined with trying through the UN and IRC to get Israel labelled a rogue state... or through right of return and flooding the area with Muslims so it in effect becomes a Muslim state. I think it's time for Israel to say, Enough! And spell out chapter and verse why none of this will work and lay down the law more firmly.
You're right. Israel has been way too soft. The Oslo peace accords were implemented while the Palestinians engaged in Nazi level antisemitic incitement. You'd think at a minimum that Israel would demand that type of incitement stop as a precursor to peace talks.
Absolutely. I think there is a way forward, somewhere between the Trump and Egyptian plan whereby Gaza and the West Bank are run by a committee combined of 6 parties - American, Israel, Palestinian (though obviously a moderate), an Egyptian, a Saudi and maybe one EU member.
The idea would be to copy the Marshall Plan in Germany, but with a complete de-radicalization of the whole region, in the same way that Germany was completely de-Nazified. So no rockets, no tunnels, no pay for slay, no indoctrination of chidren; text books re-written, school programmes changed; no naming schools after past terrorists. And this six-nation committee oversee it all - the Saudis there because combined with the Americans, the money to rebuild Gaza will come from them.
Sounds like a decent plan. The rockets, there's another epic gaslighting. A sovereign nation was cowed into accepting missile and rocket attack as something it could live with, and that same nation then gaslighted itself further into believing that it still had an image as a strong military force of deterrence.
I do believe the destruction of Israel was "built-in" by the British, who trained the Jordanian and Egyptian armies. Nobody expected Israel to survive the planned attack, one day after its independence. After that the elimination of the jews could conveniently be blamed on.......the jews! Letting "escape" Amin al-Husseini his Nuremberger trial, by the allies, to Egypt was another donation to this final end-game.
Yes, and the redefining of the word refugee just for the Palestinians to have their justification for endless attacks, and a growing "refugee" population. Plus Palestinian cities are called "camps."
Also maintaining Nazi Germany level antisemitic incitement in the Palestinian territories.
BLM doesn't care about black folks any more than "Jewish" Voices for Peace cares about Jews and Jewish issues. These are marxist organizations. As Marxists are prone to do, they mask their malevolent agenda in nice sounding names like "peace" or "justice". And of course, if you criticize them, you must be against peace, equality and are a racist. Do they still think they fool anyone?
It is with great sadness to see the great strides in Afro American civil rights helped so much by Jews being denigrated. As to Ireland - so disgustung antisemitism & Israel hatred - don't ever want to go there again
There is no meaningful connection from Dr King’s Scripture-based Civil Rights Movement and the pretenders that have twisted it into a Marxist parody of the original movement. Obama was very much involved with this Communization of the Civil Rights Movement and has no interest in non-Marxist solutions to the suppurating sore of Chicago’s South Side. He and Big Mike are firmly pro-“reparations” and anti-capitalist.
Which is probably why indeed 80% of the blacks on Chicago's South Side voted for Trump in this last election. In on camera interviews, they protested that the Dems had done nothing for them while Trump had. So much for the racism label the Dem-led media slap on Trump.

I actually touched on this subject in the form of a Monty Python style spooof a while back:

The defeats took place and the Arabs can't accept it. In fact they often claim victory to console themselves.

Joshua, you should accept that 'subscribe' invite I sent you... that way you'll have regular access to my articles.
I didn't notice any subscribe invites
Ah, that would explain the lack of response to them :)
Maybe it just appeared as... 'you have a message from.'
Yes, something like that.

Learned something. Thank you.
Good work of art
The UN is a cesspool of anti American and Anti Semitic views Trump U.S. correct in revisiting the issue of cutting U.S. contributions to the UN
