And the disputed territory in the WB is only zone C. Most of it is controlled by Palestinians. So what’s the problem?

It never was about land, but the whole annihilation of Israel.

Great article. Perfect analysis.

I would argue that Judea and Samaria should not even be described as disputed. It belongs to Israel. It is simply insane to claim that JUDEA is not Jewish.

The only ethnic cleansing which has ever taken place in Gaza were that of the Jews. Yet not only wasn't it labeled as such and consequently having sparked criticism or outrage, it's actually expected, demanded that Jews be ethnically cleansed from areas they regard belong to "palestinians". The world, particularly the left doesn't oppose ethnic cleansing as long as Jews are the ones being ethnically cleansed.

The term "disputed" is the legal term that Natasha Hausdorff uses, and it simply acknowledges that the dispute exists, as unjust as it might be. And I totally agree, the double standards are just mind blowing.

Good overview. I 'm old. I 'd hope that young Jewish students at the anti Zionist network of universities would encounter at least one professor in Jewish studies who in not anti Zionist and will present the facts. The pressure on Jewish kids to belong and conform is the same as when I was at university. My time predates the explosion of campus anti Semitism and pro Palestine racism. I hope that there are some venues on campus in which Jews can learn the history you provide and have pride in their Jewishness and pride in Israel. I hope Jewish kids can be anywhere on campus in any lounge, in any space, in any university hall and feel safe.

Thank you so much for your wonderful article......Enough with calling Judea and Samaria, the " West Bank" , enough the " Occupation ", enough with all the lies !!!

Absolutely correct on all counts. Funny how the Arab occupiers call the Jews occupiers. They have a short memory of their own history of occupation and ethnic cleansing. Tired and bored of the same buzzwords used over and over again until they have little meaning; occupation, apartheid, genocide, and on and on. My question to the "peace activists' is, what is your plan for peace for Gaza, Judea, Samaria and Israel? i would love to hear it. They (the Palestinians) hate Jews, don't want them as neighbors, and certainly do not want Israel to exist. Why don't these activists understand this?

They'd tell you - if only there was no occupation, no blockade, no checkpoints etc etc etc... Maybe it's a delusion? Maybe the reality of "they hate us no matter what" is too harsh for them to face? At this point in time I care less about their motives, and more about the possible consequences... ((

I agree with you, Masha. 'if' is a one syllable word with an open-ended meaning that makes the difference between what could or could not be. I saw a short video of a black Jew who lived in Israel speaking to an American about his experience living there. Everything he told her that was positive, She told him, "I don't believe you." If she only believed him, but she didn't so if changes nothing.

We will know the Arabs are serious about peace when they apologize for the lie of “palestinianism”, correct the lie by absorbing their fellow Arabs, and exhange peace for peace. Until then, there is nothing to discuss.

I try to reason with these people and it’s always a waste of time. If I mention any of the facts you mentioned here, I’m told that I’m “spewing Israeli propaganda,” which is how they see facts. But then they swallow whole the actual and very obvious propaganda from the “Health Ministry” of Gaza. I’m no geopolitical expert nor historian but I don’t understand why the propaganda is so obvious to some but not others. Like if you’re siding with the terrorists shouldn’t you think twice, one would think?

Some people are too set in their pro-terror ways of thinking, some just never heard an alternative perspective. So I try to convince myself that even though they won't say it to my face, but if I manage to present a coherent argument, I might be planting a seed of their future change of heart. The only choice we have is between speaking up and not speaking up. So I give it my best try.

Hindus moved out of Pakistan in 1948 when Britain mandated it to the Muslims. A million of displaced people, they do not demand back land, start wars, suicide bomb and cause war. Many lost lands of centuries, business, livelihoods. Many moved into Bangladesh, where they are again today being forced from their lands. Where is the UN? Where are the calls for occupation and genocide? There are none because of double standards.

Far-right, war-monger, messianic extremist? Embrace those adjectives with pride. Make the pro-killer supporters more crazy than they are already. Even though none of them will take the time to read what you say, just as I do not take the time to read or listen to their propaganda, continue to write and speak to us. I love it. "From the river to the sea, Hamas shall cease to be.". And soon enough, the rest of the so-called two estate nightmare.

I read and listen to what they are saying just to have an honest understanding of what we are dealing with. But the name calling - I don't take it close to heart, of course, this is just an evidence of the hypocrisy.
