Excellent truth. Israel should have never given back Sinai, Golan, one inch of Jerusalem—all acquired during military assault by enemies—for the ‘plight of the poor Palestinian…’ It is a media aggrandized death cult Israel has been forced to enable. No more.

Notice how many Jews both in and outside of Israel have adopted their enemy's terminology to describe themselves and their land. Case in point — East Jerusalem.

If East Jerusalem is a legitimate political entity belonging to the so-called Palestinians, then by the same right, central Jerusalem can rightfully be claimed by Rome, as it once was the Kingdom of Jerusalem , aka the Latin Kingdom. Syria and Lebanon can fight over who has first dibs on North Jerusalem while Britain and Jordan can fight over who has the greater right to reclaim West Jerusalem, or in their case, all of it. The lefties on all sides will surely support these claims, especially the "progressive" Jews.

If the West feelsitis righteous to pass anti-islamiphobia laws, how about in the name of equality before the law passing anti-kufarphobia laws?

At least the whole " religion of peace" lie has been exposed by their recent " peaceful activities". In time the whole" religion lie" will be exposed and the liberals world will see them for the death cult they are.

Every human being on this Earth owes a debt of gratitude to the Jewish state. Should Kamala Harris win, and I hope she does, people like me will keep her honest. Nothing good can come from politicians who have no respect for the Rule of Law. Americans and Israelis know exactly what is meant by that.

Islamists are exactly like Nazis: supremacist expansionist antisemits, who want to expand by force and impose their rule through sheer brutality. What is a moderate Nazi? You could maybe make a case for the guy who joins the party just to keep his managing position in a factory, in the (false) hope it will keep normal life for him and his family. You certainly can't make a case for any top leader of the movement, who belong hung at the end of a rope, with no exception.

Just another article confirming how important the outcome of the coming election will be for the future of the Jews and the future of Israel and the US itself. Another 4 years of the Dems and life will be worse and worse.

I understand the betrayal by the politicians, they care only about the vote, getting re-elected and all the money they are getting from the Islamist Lobbys. I also understand the betrayal by the Universities and colleges again because of the money they are getting.

What leaves me puzzled is the betrayal by the media. What makes CNN, MSNBC, and all the rest of mainstream benefit by its blatant bias and betrayal? These are very educated people whose very mantra is to be neutral and honest in reporting. Any honest and truthful person can never call any member of Hamas moderate. Like you said Joshua, all they have to do is look at the Charter. All you have to do is look at all the Israeli people of color to know they are not the White oppressor colonizers ... so why are they taking this big leap from reality? Joshua, you are in the reporting business, what is the root of the media betrayal? papa j

"These are very educated people whose very mantra is to be neutral and honest in reporting."

To your questions about the media, it may be useful to distinguish between public image, corporate policy and news room practice.

Journalists love to peddle the image of themselves as impartial and objective. Nothing could be further from the truth. It does not matter if they are working for left-leaning media or for right-leaning media, they all hew to their employer's political stance regarding whatever topic they cover.

Orwell would cite this self-serving journalistic claim as a textbook example of doublespeak.

It still doesnt sit right with me but what you are saying makes sense. I just assume that the owners and the corporations would come from different ideas and backgrounds and offer diversity but yet its overwhelmingly Left. In 1984 the governemet controlled but that is not the case in a Democracy

"In 1984 the governemet controlled but that is not the case in a Democracy"

True, democratic governments do not control the media. Not overtly. However, they do have media outlets very supportive of their policies and practices, e.g. Fox supporting the Republicans, NPR supporting the Dems. And governments do use their power as instruments of persuasion and control with the media. For example, by deciding who has access to government source and what information is released to the media, they can influence the media to carry their message or suppress information detrimental to the ruling party. They can also pass laws favourable to their exercise of that power.

In conclusion, the more digitized information becomes, the greater the ability of government to massage the message.

perfectly good sense but the fact that you have Fox and other right wing outlets only proves the point that the government may influence and do the stuff you said but ultimately its up to the network, outlet to decide if it will be left, right or balanced. what i fail to undersand is why the majority are left and seem to have alligned themselves with the Progressive Left and in fact the Islamists against Israel.

Very good and true article. I think a lot of people are simply in denial about the threat that Islam poses, because it's all just a bit too close to home these days. There's also a lot of cowardice in not being willing to go against the grain of mainstream (establishment) opinion - even though that, I'm sure, is also dominated by fear rather than conviction. Far easier to just subscribe to a woke Disneyfied version of reality in which everyone everywhere lives happily ever after. (So long as they don't abandon their dreams.)

Oh yeah, and I don't care if anyone thinks I'm Islamophobic. We really have to get past this political correctness. It's been I think bout 40 years and it's gotten worse, not better. Enough! Jews / Israelis deal with reality, because it's a question of survival.

Unfortunately, Wall Street Journal reporting has become very biased against Israel. However, my experience of their editorials and some of their columnist is very fair to Israel.
