Where in African drumming or cowboy songs for that matter are the musical lines of ten violins, six cellos, various horns, and so on. There's no comparison. You can like what you like, but it's fatuous to claim that bouzouki music, or yodeling, is comparable to the music that came out of western Europe during a select two centuries

As far as we know, we haven't been asked if we wanted to play a role in God's creation. So the rule, "That which is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow," should be the criterion that every culture inherently adheres to as a minimum requirement.
