This is very interesting. To bring this in to modern time, the area called Palestine, issued passports to all in that area, Arab, Jew, etc., and until 1948, the Main Newspaper in Hebrew was the Palestinian Post, the symphonic orchestra - The Palestinian Symphony, then when LEGAL State was given to the new State of Israel the names were changed. Golda Meir proudly held up her Palestinian passport until she received her Israel Passport. It is so ironic that Arafat, who certainly wasn't from the region and obviously not well educated with the history of the area, would choose that name for the region. His ignorance, intolerance, and inhumanity, was the beginning of the worst terroristism, and it is said that his "hero" was Adolf Hitler. He, along with the a Sheik in Egypt and King Farouk were the curse for the region.

Great article. Here was my take on it "Palestine By Any Other Name Is Still Israel" https://thetruthfulproject.blogspot.com/2021/12/palestine-by-any-other-name-is-still.html

Interesting article. One slight correction: the author meant to use the term “Mishna”, not midrash, in reference to the oral law.

All 'palestinians' are inhabitans of the region 'palestine' , jews and not jews included. By the way, Palestine was originally bigger than what Israël now is: it also included a part of Syria and Jordan.

Go read a history book. The Palestinians have had 10 different opportunities to establish their own state since the 1930s and have declined every time as long as it means a Jewish state next to it.
