The Australian government is an abomination, barring IDF soldiers and officials from their nation under the guise that they are "war criminals" for fighting against the monsters who actually did commit war crimes against Israelis. These despicable, spineless western governments treat Israelis as terrorists while actual muslim terrorists somehow gain easy entrance into western nations by the thousands. How convoluted and suicidal. With such perverse policies, all they are really doing is endangering their own nations, not hurting Israelis who have no need for those countries.

Happy New Year Josh ad welcome back. Seems like the last week had many guest posts and perhaps you took some time off. Good for you. Re this article, I was particularly dismayed by the fact that the Pope allowed himself to be publicly seen at an event depicting Jesus as a Palestnian. Did the depiction show Jesus wrapped in a kefiyah and carrying an AK-47? Has the Pope gone tone deaf? Is he starting to exhibit "Joe Biden Syndrome"? In any case and in addition to the comments made by the Diaspora Minister, may I be so bold and remind the Pope, and other fellow Christians, that not only was Jesus a Jew, he was a man of peace and of love. And the Jews did not kill Jesus. That would be the Romans. Furthermore, the Romans did not nail a sign to the cross identifying Jesus as a Palestinian; they nailed a sign to the cross that said (and I quote), "JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS" For those who may be unaware, that quote can be found in the Christian Bible, the New Testament section, the Gospel of John, chapter 19, verse 19.

As the Catholic Polish priest who offered himself to be executed in place of another man at the death camp....Francis the pope must now offer himself to hamas in place of the tortured babe Kfir Bibas.....that would be the "Christian" thing to do.

The teachings in the Jewish Torah had a profound influence on the “founding fathers” of America. Some were used in the writings of the Declaration of Independence. George Washington, the first President of the United States welcomed the Jews into America. We have

lived in the US since its founding in relative freedom and acceptance. Knowing our history over the centuries, we can see the differences in

acceptance here. In fact, the last 50 years have been golden for us. We have done well and have

been successful in America, and brought light into the country. I expect this to continue, after we push back and have a positive President who

appreciates our value and place in our enviable

diverse country. Even though we have seen antisemitism in America, the great majority of Americans support us and Israel.

Jews have long had deep association and identification with Diaspora lands.....so much so that some Jews...perhaps a minority prioritize it over a Jewish national homeland/ renaissance. From the look of thing more than ever being Jewish in the Diaspora is about being self effacing....warning Jewish kids that Columbia is too unsafe...stay off campus...no signs of Jewish id on your person....making films in which Jews and Jewish life is lampooned and excoriated and this is is considered "progressive." And of course open identification with and support for people who just butchered Jews Oct. 7 of 23...... "Jews say" "Not in my name" "if not now" tikkun olam for everyone but Jews. I'd like to see a robust Jewish community in France....is there still a chance...I'm less optimistic for the Jews of the UK .....this leaves the United States and Israel as two places where Jews can live.

Yes, we can live in the United States but I am 1 hour away from one of the two synagogue attacks where Jews were murdered.

I don't much go at all for resort to the language of "the greatest..", here "greatest atrocity in history" Always seems to me a needlessly hollow sort of epithet, for not only is it indistinguishable from wretched listings culminating in the likes of "greatest song (or album) of all time" etc etc, i would also ask how it does not diminish the countless other "great" atrocities carried out in the past? I realize the significance and impact of the Holocaust are in many ways quite like no other, but "the greatest"?. Here's to the elimination of jejune hyperbole!
