I have new heroes since October 7, and Douglas Murray is at the top of my list. I have long thought that he deserves Righteous Among the Nations and am happy to learn in this article that he was awarded something akin to that in April by Israel.
I have been following Douglas Murray for a long time and find him not only to be incredibly astute and well educated, with flawless use of language- but also to be a fair, well mannered, and deeply caring individual for human rights EVERYWHERE. As an individual concerned by the demise of Western Civilization, he has shown himself to be an incredible intelligent mind among the 8 billion people of this planet. Would that there were more of his erudite and well spoken kind, who were, and are willing to speak the truth. Thank you for these well deserved words for Mr. Murray.
Thank you for this tribute to the wonderful Douglas Murray!
Only this morning I was feeling demoralised and wondering if I was going mad with all the antisemitic gaslighting and perverse twisting of the truth.. and then chanced upon a clip of Douglas speaking words of truth.
So to see this tribute is heartwarming and timely. Thank you Jeremy Rosen and Future of Jewish!
There are many, many, more in the world who love and support Israel, but they do not have the stage to express that support that Murray does. That said, the truth is that many such people also lack the intellectual and rhetorical gifts he is so amply endowed with, and may - at least for the time being - also lack the moral courage and fortitude of character to take such open stands against the Blob.
May the Spirit of G-d fill such people, guide them in and through the darkness, and give them the courage, wisdom, skills, and love that is necessary to openly stand against this great evil sweeping our world - that it may be restrained, the masks it hides behind removed. May the works of the enemies of G-d be revealed for the evil and cowardice that it is, that many amongst those that are confused or deceived may be convicted of the truth, understand the times we live in, recognize the need to ‘choose this day, whom (they) will serve’, and turn to the true and living G-d for salvation.
And may the Lord raise up many champions from amongst His People, fill them with power, might, and wisdom from above, give them great victories against their many enemies, from both without and within the nation of Israel - causing them to know that He is G-d - and that He that guards Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps! (Psalms 121:4)
I love this article about Douglas Murray — he is truly a brilliant light in today’s darkness. An extraordinary man. Not only does he write about his convictions, he has the courage to enter war zones to discover truth — whether in Israel or Ukraine.
However, I have a couple of small quibbles with the good rabbi: neither Ayaan Hirsi Ali nor Sohrab Ahmari are Muslim. Ahmari converted to Catholicism and Hirsi Ali recently announced her conversion to Christianity. Both left their Muslim upbringings behind, became atheists for a while, and then discovered a different faith.
Remarkable human. “He is a reminder that not everyone in the non-Jewish world is against us.” May Douglas Murray’s clarity awaken and empower every Jew and every goy of every kind — whose righteousness is conflicted; whose convictions are socially stifled; whose resistance is ideologically indoctrinated; whose hatred is secretly born of self-insecurity — to find their better selves before it is too late. The reckoning is nigh.
Douglas Murray is great, but he’s not the only one. Have you heard of Louai Ahmed, the Yemeni/Swedish journalist? He also supports us because he knows persecution.
Yes, Luai is great ! Bravely outspoken. He's just at the beginning of his journey as a journalist, writer, activist. Hopefully he will become better known.
Yes, the more we can support him the better! He is lecturing across the USA at the moment.
Yes ! And a few good ones are far better than a lot of fair weather lukewarm ones.

Yes, his beautiful use of the language is also noteworthy. Forgot to mention that in my earlier comment.
I have so much respect, admiration, and gratitude for Mr. Murray. Thank you for this.
An exceptional and courageous individual who tells it as it is!
Good idea. Happy to oblige!

Exactly how I awoke this morning, here in USA time. Discouraged, praying…then found Mr. Rosen’s article on a good friend to Israel.
