Wacky is not the word to use. Wacky infers harmless and just stupid. Academia has been Left to Far Left for years in ideology and has ramped it up , especially in the Humanities and Social Sciences. It is a concerted and evil effort to brainwash students in racist Jew hating ideology and the concerted effort to dehumanize and demonize Jews, while cheering when Jews get killed by radicals and jihadists. That is not wacky, but unbelievably evil, no different than Stalin's attempts to purge and kill the Jewish intelligentsia, as well as the Nazis' campaign to commit genocide on the Jews.
Of course there have always been quotas but they were disguised as selecting students according to geography. I hope American Jews will cool to these schools but fear their need for wealth and power will win out.
