Having heard his “explanation” it seems Ed Sheeran was comfortable letting Macklemore speak on his behalf. He is not innocent - he is a coward letting others do his dirty bidding. Save your passion and your morality for other artists who deserve it and move on from Ed Sheeran. His music is good. His soul is not.
As s.o. who is not at all interested in all Taylor Swifts, Ed Sheerans of the world and further such „music“, I can“t say anything about it. But it seems to be important though I don“ t know why. I hear music and make music myself all day long but always could do without mass-compatible Pop Shit and never understood the frenzy for that. Maybe when I was eight years old.
Excellent response! I was disheartened when I heard Sheeran give his blurb, I like his music and him but will never support what he’s saying , he blew it. I only hope that he rethinks a recants. No longer a fan!
