Another brilliantly written and reasoned article. I’ve long since believed that Jewish anti-Zionists are are as bad, if not actually worse for Jews worldwide that non-Jewish ones. And self-hating Jews are by far the worst and most dangerous. As you said, every country has problems, and in a democracy like Israel, one should be and is able to comment, complain, and attempt to correct those problems through the democratic process. But no country, except for Israel, is demonized to such an extent while its enemies simultaneously try to completely annihilate it and attempt to convince others that in fact THEY are on a righteous path. And that allegedly educated people at universities and their less educated charges across North America have joined this propaganda bandwagon in total disregard for the historical record and documented fact, is so intellectually dishonest and so devoid of moral clarity, that it literally hurts my brain. My heart already broke on October 7th.

Well said, Julie! FYI, working on a piece about "self-hating" Jews — look out for it shortly!

Thinking of changing my assimilationist first name to Tsiona. You are spot on, as usual.

Fantastic article. Sending to my kids who are too busy which equals “sitting on the sidelines.”

Excellent Article! It reminds me of Tom Stoppard's "Leopoldstat" which I saw on Broadway last year. The show demonstrated perfectly how so many Jews in the early 20th century Vienna didn't see what was coming. It also reminds me of what is happening now. After the October 7th massacre, I dug up an essay that explained the "Nuremberg Laws." I suggest everyone become familiar with them, especially those Jews who support the destruction of Israel. The Jews of Europe in the early 20th century didn't have Israel. Today's Jews still do...
