Fantastic article thank you.my father worked in Tehran 1973 until the revolution. I visited many times during school and university holidays. There was chronic poverty but there was a building of a more western reality. No burka. No mandatory prayer. Girls at school, wkme at university, pop music in the streets and a thriving economy. Now it's a dump. If the woke brigade went there for a week they'd eould run back to the west. Their disaffection would evaporate. But they're too busy virtue signalling and pretending they care about people they don't care about at all. Iran needs the support if the west to crawl out of the coffin that the ayatollah created.
Just a wonderful piece. The estranged Iranian people must be given an important platform in every Country, in order to explain the sinister and evil plan that they have. I found this so moving and Countries have a duty to expose it.

The Marxists, having failed to get elected have infiltrated the educational and bureaucratic machinery. The progeny of their efforts have no critical thinking skills with which to appraise their current partnership with Islamist, and they have a lot to learn from you and the lessons of the Iranian revolution!
Hitchens was certainly not an antisemite. I recommend his essay on antisemitism for the Hannah Arendt Center. Admittedly, like many other leftists, he was mistaken about Zionism. However, I’m confident he would have reconsidered his position if he were still alive.
