I always found it weird how some Westerners see 99.84% of the Middle East ruled by Muslims, but they want it to be closer to 100%. For Muslims who feel this way, it's pure greed. For non-Muslims, it's incomprehensible.

Reading this very well written history of Israeli land made me angry at the many injustices suffered by the Jewish people. I've always felt that "giving land for peace" was incomprehensible when the Jewish people keep their promises and the Islamists lie, Taqiyya, because they're allowed to according to their totalitarian belief system.
There can never be any form of peace or treaty or agreement with people who will sign on the dotted line, but know in their hearts they're lying because they're trained to lie to "infidels."
Trump is the same way. He thinks he can make deals with the likes of the IRGC. The Iranian Guard Corp just laughs at him.
