What is telling is that the argument could easily be turned around: what kind of society is it that not only abdicates the care of its own children, but actually delegates their well-being to the goodwill of the enemy it swore to destroy? How does the whole world not come together to reject such an aberration against nature and civilization, instead of indulging it and supporting it in deed, and often in word?

A few thoughts:

Your comment is exactly what I was thinking, but you said it so much better.

(Did Hamas put their children in the tunnels to protect them? No.)

Lastly, I often say "if you don't want dead children/civilians/etc ... don't start a war with Israel."

But the enemy DOES want their own children to die.

That's why they never keep them safe in the tunnels. The PR is so much better this way.

We aren't asking to spare our own children at the expense of Palestinians, we just refuse to sacrifice our own children to their claims.

And of course, Gazans murdered Jewish children, but no one cared.

Of course, Jewish children in Israel are victimized by terrorism. Many killed and taken hostage on 10/7/23. Others, in other places, traumatized by running to shelters to avoid missile attacks.

What about them? When someone complains about Gazan children, that's what I bring up.

And, as Ms. Berg notes, when Hamas teaches hate and weaponry and martyrdom to Gazan children, they are engaged in child abuse.

There is a long history of Palestinian Arabs deliberately placing their children in danger for propaganda purposes. It is pure child abuse to use children for such purposes and to teach them that killing Jews is what G-d wants them to do. Palestinianism is a death cult that promotes a self-inflicted grievance culture based upon a contrived fake narrative. What a waste of life. And the so-called do-gooders who wring their hands and make excuses for them are complicit in this generational abuse of children. People who authentically care about children would be anti-Hamas and anti-Islamist jihad. Instead, they prioritize demonizing Israel and Jews and promoting calculated dishonesty and hate, all the while pretending to be caring and just. What a complete sham.

Start at the top.

The extensive infrastructure built by Hamas to conduct the nonstop war against Israel, carried out with the full knowledge of the UN.

Alongside thousands of rockets launched at Israeli cities by both Hamas and Hezbollah, Hamas constructed a massive subterranean tunnel network with significant resources:

- Length: 350 to 450 miles

- Materials Used: 6,000 tons of concrete and 1,800 tons of metal

- Financial Cost: Tens of millions of dollars

This vast network of terror tunnels exists to shield terrorists and conceal weapons as part of an ongoing war against Israel.

Taliban, Hamas, Hezbollah etc put bombs on babies, children’s backpacks and are filmed, there are eyewitnesses and that is never discussed about “what about the children” sick

Hezbollah didn’t mind bombing a playground of Druze last year … Hamas doesn’t mind firing off rockets into Israel indescriminately into civilian areas (not to mention Oct 7) …. the fact that Israel has the iron dome hides this fact. As does MSM of course.

Actually, they are NOT universally shared moral convictions. Not in islamic or communist societies.

....................................................................................................................................................................................................

"Nobody needs to be persuaded that children deserve to live. Nobody needs to be convinced that children should not suffer. These are among the most universally shared moral convictions in human civilization".

My beloved mentor of old from Vichy when it fell into nazi hands has awakened from her sleep in the dust,

she rages, she rages, she rages out from behind the veil with the old Grand Rabbi of France who converted her at her desire to be in life after the war a JEW.

G-D bless you for your light, inheritances and courage.

My ballad of her life I placed within my work ‘The Unsung Heroines’ is within it and i hold her bible within my hands now, this is no time to share her with a world plauged, steeped in JEW hate, inhumanity I shall share with them, the tragically unworthy.
