So true. Strategic deception has always been part of warfare, and Trump has used this pattern repeatedly — talk about negotiations, give deadlines, extend them, and then act decisively.
That’s why all the talk right now about mediation or negotiations may simply be part of the same playbook. It’s hard to believe the U.S. and Israel would enter a conflict with Iran without already planning for its most obvious leverage points, like the Strait of Hormuz or Kharg Island. When Marines and major naval assets move into the region, they’re not there symbolically.
Ironically, the constant chorus from progressive politicians, activists, and much of the media insisting that negotiations are the only path may actually help sell the illusion. If Iran believes the West is desperate for talks, it may underestimate what is actually being prepared. Sometimes the loudest calls for diplomacy become part of the deception itself.
Exactly: I’ve been saying, either T is talking 💩 on purpose, as deception, or he really doesn’t know what he’s talking about and there better be someone really smart behind him (??? not to invoke conspiracy theories!) who does have a plan.
Don’t fret, Suzy. There is a plan. The problem with plans is that they’re only plans, so stay tuned! NO ONE knows what will happen. There are probabilities, but that’s all we have. And smart folks learn to live with uncertainty then adapt to a given result. At this moment, my money’s on Israel.
I would say Trump is using deception AND he has really smart people behind him. And with Israel, of course they have a plan. And the plans have to have flexibility as all good plans must have. And there is, of course, risk. But this HAD to be done, Israel and America have had plans for years in the event we got to this point, and here we are. No two armies have ever worked so seamlessly together in the history of warfare and there are a lot of military experts saying that, not just the administration.
Perhaps so, but the IRGC are not total idiots. They have now seen this movie many times. Further deception is not impossible, it is just becoming more difficult.
Reminds me of what Yogi Berra said. “Predictions are hard to make, especially about the future.”

Deception and madman performance are valid.
But sometimes something that looks like a shit show is in fact a shit show
Hahahahaha. Yeah, what keeps everyone crazy is trying to figure out which is performative and which is truly a shit show.

All of the above, plus, other than in a group of malevolent teenagers, the largest mix of arrogance and inexperience possible.
From your lips, Joshua, ⬆️!
Deception plus whatever works to end this awful regime in Iran 🇮🇷 !!!!!!......Am Israel Chai........

The IRGC and Basij are using 11 and 12 year old boys as recruits. That sounds desperate but also extremely evil.
Since they treat their women so badly why not 11 or 12 year old girls?
That would make the girls ineligible to marry old rapists.
Hadn't thought of that
So much has to remain undocumented.
HA‼️😂They’re up to SOMETHING and who knows what?!! I have faith in the Lord and the IDF and AIF and the USA‼️🇮🇱🇺🇸💯❤️💕💕😺
I agree.
I hope the IRGC are not reading this substack...
It wouldn't matter. They know, they've seen the same history.
Thank you Joshua...another excellent post. Restacked!
