So right! The disappointed Israel boycotters blame the popular vote for the failure to take Israel down. Regardless that the popular voting was already geared down to punish Israel. Absolutely pathetic!! The Jews consist of less than 0.1% of European population. So, it cannot be the Jews voting for Israel. The point here obviously is the deep disappointment of the Jew bashers who must realize that their giant continent wide campaigns are not producing wanted results. The silent guy from the buss stop still votes Israel.
The European Union of Islam is failing. The economies are stagnant, the demographics are collapsing, the institutions are hollow, the culture is exhausted. This is a continent in deep decline and it and the world knows it.
And still it finds the energy to come after Jews.
Enough.
Do not perform for them. Do not compete for their approval. Do not invest in their markets, legitimize their institutions, or show up for their cultural pageants. Do not send your brightest minds to their universities or your companies to their capitals. Do not give them the innovation, the talent, the energy that Jews have always brought to every place that would have us — and then tried to destroy us anyway.
They do not deserve us.
They never did.
Europe is a continent with Jewish blood so deep in its soil it will never wash out — and it has learned nothing. Jewish families are fleeing France, Belgium, Sweden right now. Today. Jewish leaders are saying openly: do not raise your children here.
Listen to them.
Every jew should turn their back on Europe and prepare to fight back economically technically and militarily, if we get the chance.
I have to agree with your recommendations. Full disclosure, I am a 77 year old American Protestant, not Jewish, but this article about Eurovision made me cry. I follow the news of rising antisemitism around the world, including my own country and it gets uglier and uglier. And what happened at Eurovision is emblematic. But what made me angry, and weep at the same time was not the larger issue so much as that this talented young man was treated hatefully. All he wanted to do was sing, and bring joy to people.
New York Times did what it always does - reported their virulently antisemitic propaganda as news about song competition ..They shouldn't be even given the benefit of mention . As to coverage of sporting events like Olympics for example, NYT gives positive coverage only to American athletes presenting themselves as victims of some sort of discrimination . Otherwise they present American athletes indifferently at best or in negative light on athletes accompanied by negative comments about USA . Israeli competitors are always mentioned in the context of NYT own lies about genocide and famine in Gaza .
It’s quite clear … Israel is hear to stay, Israel is here to sing .. and for all the nay sayers, and Israel haters, including the likes of Spain, Ireland, Iceland and Slovenia, there is a very simple French expression …
G O F U C K Y O U R S E L V E S …

Dripping with hatred of the Jewish state, the NY slimes can't even bring itself to cover a song contest honestly involving an Israeli contestant without making up a story that Israel somehow rigged the votes. The NY slimes is a wretched institution which should cease to exist.
Hen, your point about “official Europe” versus “actual Europe” was excellent. The institutions, activists, and media spent months trying to isolate Israel, yet ordinary Europeans voting privately still pushed Israel near the top.
That tells me something very important: the public is often far less radicalized than the activist and institutional class.
And honestly, trying to exclude an Israeli singer simply because he is Israeli is a very dangerous road culturally and historically. Once artists are judged not by their work but by their nationality, identity, or politics, society is entering ugly territory.
Great article, Hen. Thank you. So glad for Noam and for Israel to see this result. His performance was brave and beautiful.
Australia (where I live) is pretty much on its own in the competition, too. Delta Goodrem also did well, coming in at fourth. Apparently, the Israel jury voted for Australia.
Noam and his team performed with humanity and love — he and Israel are class acts. Am Ysrael Chai 🫶🫶

Countries boycotting Eurovision because of Israeli participation:
Holland: - Highest rate of Jewish genocide (75%) during WW2

Ireland: - Denied entry of Holocaust Refugees during/after WW2

Spain: - Inquisition 1492; killed/expelled entire Jewish population
After Franco's victory in 1939, all Jewish organizations in Spain were shut down,
and public Jewish religious practice was outlawed.
Jews were not able to display their faith in public until 1967.

The Dutch buried their history of sending Jews to Germany.
Ireland sending Germany condolences on the apparent suicide of the fuhrer. so sad....sinn fein has a whole palestine boutque on line.
Brilliant piece. I’m surprised the New York Times didn’t write that Israeli dogs raped contestants to come in second place.
That's tomorrow's NYT headline.
Sadly won’t surprise any of us.
Not remotely. What a time to be alive.
haha

Beyond time for payback.
Europe is the enemy. Treat it as such

Europe continues to excel in murdering Jews.
That’s why they imported millions of Muslims to finish the job.
All perfectly state.

Please all of you, cancel subscriptions and stop reading the NY Times. They have never reported the truth.
Haven't read the Times for many years, or many other kitty litter publications. Correction: I wouldn't use the Times for my kitty litter pan.
👍🏽👍🏻👍🏻👍🏿👍🏾👍
Israel was voted Second not Third!

I'm so happy I understand french.
Yes, Am Ysroel Chai everyday
Eurovision isn't just any song festival and Israel just isn't any country.
I did cancel my subscription.

Once again, Israel brought the light to the Eurovision darkness thanks to Noam. Baruch Hashem. Am Yisrael Chai.
