Brilliant article Joshua

We Brits don't do a lot of Nationalism - however at the last night of the Royal Albert Hall Proms we sing the National Anthem - a bit of pride.

The next day I see our King and Prince William meeting and shaking hands with Mahmood Abbas from the PA who still 'pay for slay'

Disgusted - doesn't do it justice - I felt ashamed.

How could our monarch shake hands with this completely corrupt 'leader' who is only a smidge not worse from Hamas.

For the families and friends of the Oct 7th pogrom - the hostages - and the brave soldiers of the IDF lost to jihadi evil I offer my heartfelt apology from the UK

"The late Abba Eban, Israel’s legendary diplomat, once quipped that “the Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.” Truer words have never been spoken about Arab intransigence. Add to that a quote from Golda Meir "We will only have peace with [the Arabs] when they love their children more than they hate us"

Israel must have learned from the first 12 months of weapons starvation that an indigenous weapons industry is a necessity. Probably with the focus on autonomous weapons systems. Necessity will build more than pride. Israeli leftists snap out of zombie trance. You have to relearn with new paradigms for war, commerce and pubic diplomacy

I believe these Arab meetings and so-called threats are political theater. Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt are still very worried about Iran (the regime still needs to be finished off) and only Israel can do that. They do NOT want Iran/terrorists to continue the horrors they have created in the Middle East (which could lead to their own destruction), and they DO want the New Middle East plans to get underway, but at the same time, they have to keep their populations from revolting. Once it becomes clear that the New Middle East is going to happen and Abraham Accords will be signed, those countries will have to deal with their internal populations of Jihadis, but now is NOT the time. After Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthis, et al, are completely neutralized, it will be a little easier for those countries to focus on their internal issues. Look, there is a reason Saudi Arabia, the UAE and other Arab countries have banned Al Jazeera, banned the teaching of antisemitism, and have even banned the Muslim Brotherhood; they are also paving the way for the New Middle East plans and they know their own survival depends on the plans.. Expect more fake "outrage" as Israel continues to eliminate the terror groups and shocks the world with their efficiency in taking down the terror structure of the Middle East. Europe and other Western countries are going to have a hell of a lot more trouble with Jihadis looking to fulfill their mission of a world-wide Islamic caliphate while the (new) Middle East will be blossoming and becoming like Dubai and the UAE. Israel has already made astounding progress toward the New plans and the closer to success the realization of those plans are, expect more "political theater."

Worth noting that a lot of the recent weapons blocks against Israel were for low tech items, like dumb aerial bombs or chemical precursors, that Israel had outsourced because it was more economical than producing them in house.

Other than aircraft, the high-tech items like Merkava tanks, Namer IFVs, Eitan APCs, SPIKE anti-tank missiles, SPICE bomb guidance kits, air-launched ballistic missiles (used on Doha), and many more are all produced in Israel.

Israeli Galil rifles are standard army issue in Chile, Colombia, Vietnam and Israeli Tavor rifles are used by special forces in Morocco and India.

The low-tech items have already entered production in Israel.

Always exciting to point out that 3 Israeli universities ranked among the top 100 universities in the world:

I'm old enough to remember when the Arab Boycott prevented products from Toyota, Coca-Cola and Baxter Pharmaceuticals from being sold in Israel.

I have another simple phrase that sums my feelings when I hear of an Arab boycott of Israel, "Myeh". In other words, here we go again. I also noted an omission from the lessons learned while in the military. It's the ability to learn to work with people from all backgrounds.

Israel is the start up nation par excellence and should never entertain the thought that approval by the EU UN or the chattering classes of the woke world is necessary for its survival

Israel's resiliency and ability to adapt to the situation is amazing, a testament to the strength of its people and the fortitude given them by Hashem.
