A serious question for those calling Jews “European colonizers”: What European flag were they planting? Colonies exist on behalf of an outside empire. Israel wasn’t founded as a colony of Britain, France, Germany, or any other European power. If there was no mother country, in what sense is it colonialism?

The special thing about Israel is that God Himself promised the land to Abraham and his offspring as an eternal possession (Genesis 17:8). The promise was repeated to Isaac and to Jacob.
I believe this is why so many people are focused on that tiny sliver of land. These people hate God, and they hate God’s people. But God hasn’t forgotten His promise to Abraham, and this is why Israel exists today!

And one would be hard put to find a place, other than Israel, where the newcomers expelled the inhabitants. They may have overwhelmed them, subjugated them, intermarried with them, but didn't throw them out.
I think your comment oversimplifies the history in two ways. First, describing Jews simply as 'newcomers' overlooks their historical origin and continuous presence in the land. Second, it's not historically accurate to suggest Israel is uniquely difficult to compare. History contains many examples of populations being expelled or forcibly displaced during wars and the creation of new states. The 1947–49 refugee crisis itself wasn't the result of one uniform policy or one single cause—it varied considerably from place to place
I'm sorry that I wasn't clear: I wasn't describing the Jews as the newcomers. I meant the external warriors who defeated Israel , occupied the land, and expelled the Jews. See the Roman captivity, for example. The Romans didn't expel the Germanic tribes or the Anglo-Saxon ones. Much less erase their names.
