Another wonderful history lesson, thank you. Israel has persisted against the odds and it will continue to do so. The west needs you desperately, however badly they behave! You will keep going as you always have, do everything you have to! I believe you will see this dreadful time through. So many of us believe in you and will always stand with you. 🙏❤️

Wonderful history. My parents emigrated to Israel before WWII and after, eventually traveling to the US for college. I’m proud to be an Israeli citizen since 2012, and proud of Israel’s many accomplishments in its short history, including globally helpful scientific discoveries, and defending itself against wonton terror of neighboring Arab nations and now Iran as well. Thankfully, other regional powers like Saudi Arabia are seeing the benefits of trade and political detente with Israel. Am Yisrael Chai.

A great capsule of Israel’s rise to greatness. Thank you. My friend’s & I across America have been debating what the majority of Israeli’s thought of President Biden’s speech. As all of them were classmates of Mort Klein, ZOA leader, they agree with his excoriating review of the speech, others think the average Israeli would applaud Biden’s sentiment. I hope that you might devote a few paragraphs on the topic. Thanks again for this & all your great opinion & historical perspectives.

I found his speech to be more of the same: talking out of both sides of his mouth. The Palestinians have done nothing for America, the Arabs and Muslims in America have done nothing for America (many of them actually hate America) yet the Biden administration seems so obsessed with them. There is only one reason why — which we all know — and it’s that the democrats don’t want to lose Michigan. Which I have no problem with, but stop acting like you care about people when you really just want to win the election.

Do you believe the majority of Israeli’s are of the same opinion?

I don’t think they care as long as the U.S. doesn’t use arms as a tool of leverage to prevent Israel from winning this war.

It might be more precise to say, rather than "a civil war broke out" following the adoption of the Partition Plan, that the Arabs launched a civil war. Jamal Husseini, the brother of the Nazi Mufti, openly admitted that the Arabs initiated the fighting. See UN Security Council meeting 283, page 19 (the PDF of the meeting minutes can be accessed here: https://digitallibrary.un.org/record/635417?ln=en#record-files-collapse-header).

Excellent. This should be required reading on every American university campus.
