Like I told some people in the hotel in Jerusalem when the war started, YES! Khamenei was a menace and needed to be taken out a long time ago. The timing was right according to the holiday to be celebrated in Israel, Purim. Even many of the Iranians were celebrating. Now who runs the country? Let’s stipulate for the sake of argument that the US hit the Iranian school. Still, no one has made the claim that killing the girls was the objective. Instead, it was a targeting error, perhaps careless at worst. Yet while the media and many commentators seem consumed by it, they ignore the fact that Iran sends its missiles into Israel without the slightest concern about whether they hit military targets or civilians. The failure to distinguish between negligence and the intentional infliction of harm to innocents is a moral abomination and drains the perpetrators of all credibility.
The infantilism of the student activists of the Left is well known to the Nazis and The Islamists. These disciplined and absolutely malicious Ideologies feed the talking points of our enemies to this student body of amplifiers here in The Liberal West, who are both loud and stupid, and take delight in betraying their betters ‘inside the gate’, that is to say, from our own territory which causes confusion and sows dissent to demoralise us and thus does the enemy’s work. It seems unlikely that these narratives could have penetrated our society as quickly if they hadn’t served to amplify a preferred narrative. It’s not the Iranians caused Americans to hate this administration and Israel, and defend Muslim murderers as much as parts of Western society wanted to do that hate and seized uncritically upon the chance.
I read this outstanding article by the criminally underrated Lucy Tabrizi and enjoyed it very much! She makes a very important and timely point! The mainstream media simply repeats whatever the Islamic Republic says without independently confirming it. The hard and far-left quickly adopt them and swallow them whole. Whichever side the United States and Israel is on, they are on the opposite side. This is exactly how this process worked during the Gaza War. The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry claimed Israel was committing genocide. The media accepted these numbers without questioning or fact checking them. It was then later revealed by the UN the numbers provided by the GHM had greatly inflated the number of casualties in Gaza. But the press and the hard and far-left took this misinformation and ran with it. The New York Times didn’t help their case by publishing a fawning article by the recently departed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The western mainstream media has proven time and again they can’t be trusted to tell truth about what’s going on the Middle East. The Islamic Republic has successfully infiltrated CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, and NPR and they have basically acted as Islamic Iran’s propaganda ministry in the West.
The American left’s favorite narrative is that America is all somehow at fault for the actions of the Islamic Republic. It is undoubtably true that the United States played a key role in the 1953 coup that toppled Iran’s democratically Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh. But they didn’t do it alone. Supporters of the House of Pahlavi and Great Britain also assisted in toppling Mossadegh. Furthermore, the responsibility for the actions of the Ayatollah Khomeini, Ali Khamenei and their associates rests entirely with them. France is also at fault for granting Khomeini asylum after Saddam Hussein expelled him from Iraq. There is plenty of blame to go around for the rise of the Islamic Republic and 100% of it can’t be put on the shoulders of the United States of America. Let’s be clear here, the limited military operations the United States and Israel are carrying out in Operation Epic Fury and Operation Roaring Lion were 100% justified and necessary! The Islamic Republic has brutally oppressed its people since 1979. They have a nuclear and ballistic missile program, fund terrorist proxies all across the Middle East, have a monstrous gender apartheid, slaughter peaceful protesters, arrest, jail and torture dissidents, oppress racial, religious and ethnic minorities and LGBTQ+ people, and are run by religious fanatics who want to bring about the end of the world because they believe they will go to Heaven and get 72 virgins in the afterlife. Not to mention they wish to commit a second Holocaust.
