The Red-Green alliance used to seem like one of those kooky conspiracy theories, but when I hear explanations like yours, it makes complete sense to me. I can see just how dangerous it is.
As for the UN, I believe this is a hopelessly broken institution that has far outlived whatever value it once had (if any). I'm hoping our current administration will consider forming a new organization to take its place.
Don’t abandon institutions, re-take them. The fact that this can be pointed out doesn’t mean we can’t find a linguistic/legal/movement way to change it. Perhaps more of the nations in it need to meet more democratic & human rights standards or get kicked out or sanctioned, especially from being on commissions or heads of departments or the organization. Think longer. Most people want to abandon institutions/tear them down and start over, but that is actually not necessary and not necessarily a good idea. “Nature abhors a vacuum” - something will replace it quickly and it may not be what you propose. Better to have short, medium and long term goals, and a multifaceted approach. That is more of a winning approach. See the current gap left by the removal of Voice OF America 🇺🇸, China and Russia are now able to completely fill that role. While we don’t need to fill every role, we need to be strategic about the ones we do. The United Nations, and a communication like VOA, need to be taken back (learn/find out all of the things done to mess it up and undo them) and made to work the way they originally did. Even both parties have messed with our government institutions and all of that “tomf**kery” has to be undone. It won’t be easy, but it can be done. Same re our economy, our communication systems and the “5th estate” the media. Algorithms that reinforce what each person/group wants to see has to go!!!
I have often thought about the same kind of proposal you're making here: Establish an organization for just the countries that are the "good guys". Democratic institutions that guarantee basic human rights.
My reason for proposing simply ending the UN is that reforming a corrupt institution is very difficult. Sometimes it's better to close that existing institution down and start fresh.
David, I loved this great article the first time I read it and now read it again.
Got your book " Failure to adapt" and am reading it now.
If the Jews really run the world, we wouldn't drown in hopeless " explaining" (hasbara)and we would have had our own Al-Jazeera.
Not only they highjacked and perverted so much language, but they messed up with everyone's heads. We still insist in what's " truly true", not understanding how everyone doesn't see it that way, and not realising that " narrative", like any fairy-tale or fiction ,is just as acceptable to most people. No reasoning required.
My second thought is that we must go on the attack, stop defending as a reflex, and expose them for the bastards and idiots they are, using strong language, numbers, images, putting " them" on the defensive.
I remember much missed NYC Mayor Ed Koch saying , decades ago, that we Jews have always been afraid of getting our heads from under the grass.
I think we still think this way, after 2,000 years of hiding, running and dying.
Thank you for the kind words and book purchase. I am honored. What you’re saying is very true. We are not as powerful as they say, even if in some categories of science, philosophy and military advancement we play an outsized role. At least we stick to the truth, but collectively we do a poor job of amplifying our message amidst the cacophony of falsehoods being peddled by our enemies.
Great article!!!! Now we need to convert it to a simple short visual that the indoctrinated can digest. They will only take in short bursts of information because that is how they get their information. We need to present it in the way they are willing to take the time to listen, view, or read, and at the same time, provide links to the historical references to read for themselves. The news and social media give them virtuous talking points with a few seconds of a time commitment. We need to put it into an accurate narrative that is short and sweet. My 2 cents.
The Democratic Party takes Jewish voters for granted. Just takes some waking up and a bit of backbone pushing back. There's no reason to appease any progressives.
I agree with all you write....the dismal fact is that Mid East STudies departments and some professors in "Jewish Studies" are virulent anti Zionists and teach the false narrative. Restoring Judea/Samaria to its apartheid status is of prime importance to the anti racist left....and recent episodes of violent attacks or reprisals on Arabs fuels the anti Zionist claims. And if we listen to the chanting mobs and some professors "we don't want no '48, we want all of it." So all of Israel is illegitimate to them and it's only gotten worse since Oct. 7th. So much for Oslo and "two state solution."
Yeah, I don’t think many realize that Oslo Accords should be dead now because of Oct 7th, but frighteningly since so many don’t see that, we may see WWIII/IV based on this scenario yet. 😞 😢
How does Jordan fit into this? They annexed the area in 1950, so it was de facto Jordanian but not de jure in the UN? Shouldn’t it have been “Occupied Jordanian Territories” (or better yet just Israel; if you ask me)
Reading this, a more detailed account of what I have learned about the origins of today’s antizionism in the past two years, is like looking into the inner workings of the machine. And it’s both terrifying and invigorating, as you have provided the DNA of today’s monster, so that we can spread the truth.
I think the entire situation would be better understood if it were explained this way (and feel free to correct any small errors here): Way back ca 127 AD, Judea had fought Pagan Rome for years for religious freedom. Rome was getting a bit embarrassed by this tiny country rebelling against Rome. Other countries might think they could do this as well! So Rome sent its most powerful general to fight Judea; and Rome won, and expelled the Jews from Judea.
The Jews went everywhere, to all countries in the Middle East and around the Mediterranean. And many remained there for centuries. Then, ca 1948, the Muslim nations decided to expel all those Jews who had lived within their culture since the Jews had been expelled from Judea. When the Jews were expelled from those Arab Muslim lands, much to the shock of those surrounding Arab nations, about 750,000+ of those Jews moved to the Holy Land. To counter this, and balance that sudden influx of Jews coming back to their homeland, wealthy Muslim nations paid about 800,000 Muslims to move to the land.
But before they could really settle in, Arab/Muslim nations asked them to “do us a favor and just temporarily, move to southern Lebanon, move to Gaza, and move to the West Bank. Then We will push the Jews into the sea, and you can come back and take over everything.” Apparently no one expected Israel to win its War of Independence…but Israel did win it. And it certainly would not have allowed that new, paid population of Muslims to return to Israel since they had been complicit with the deaths of all the Jews who would have been “pushed into the sea.” Israel did displace some Arabs who had been living in key areas of Jerusalem and elsewhere where their presence might have presented a security problem. I can only hope they were properly compensated. If they weren’t, even now that could be taken care of. But interestingly, those many paid new Arab immigrants seemed to have remained in Gaza, Southern Lebanon and the West Bank since the Arab countries found them to be a good source of people they could manipulate against Israel.
You can fill in all the details if you like, but that is, simplified, the essence of the story. And communities within Israel where Arab populations have lived there for ages such as Nazareth — with Christian Arab and Muslim Arab populations —were undisturbed and have lived in Israel and loved Israel and loved living in Israel and served in its army for generations.
A more accurate description would be “disputed territories” since the original intent was that the boundaries were to be later determined. Accordingly, Israel should forcibly march all the Muslim Arabs who call themselves Palestinians in the disputed territories to the borders of their Arab neighbors and return them to their fellow Arabs. Concurrently, claiming the dispute is now over, the ancient lands of Judea and Samaria are now returned to historical Israel and declare it a fait accompli. Yes the vile Arabs will stomp their feet, but there is no love for the Arabs who identify as Palestinians after Black September other than as a cudgel to use against Israel. The Jordanians will keep them in isolated refugee camps, the U.N. will draft meaningless resolutions but the Israelis if they hold firm will have their ancient lands and holy sites and be purged of their enemy within while having secure borders from their enemies outside. And Jordan knows it would lose a war to Israel if they tried to use this as an excuse to go to war, which with about 70+% of their population identifying as of Palestinian heritage could also lead to the overthrow of the ruling Jordanian monarchy, a risk they won’t want to take. As for the Arabs that identify as Palestinians, Arab people are an Arab problem, let them deal with their brethren. And anyone who yells for compensation, when the Jews were purged from Arab nations upon the founding of Israel, they were never compensated, nor should the Arabs returned to their Arab brethren. They want compensation, let Arabs compensate the Jews first. Is this likely a pipe dream, yes because it would require united political courage by the Israelis and with so many Israeli leftists that undermine their own Jewish sovereignty while holding on to the foolish fiction of a two state solution; I just don’t see it happening until or unless they get their own house in order first.
That is a very cogent and focussed article - it goes without saying - of course - that it is 100% factually accurate.
So what went wrong?
Why did Western main-stream media ever go along with the nonsense of a ‘Palestinian’ state and the ‘occupied territories’ malarkey?
It tragically seems today that so much MSM is effectively controlled by government & WEF policy output, yet this commenced decades ago.
I have difficulty, sometimes, getting my head around what the British government has done (I’ll only mention the UK because that’s my own country).
The utterly immense betrayal of being assured by the Heath government that joining the then Common Market didn’t involve surrendering sovereignty was bad enough - but at least, with hindsight, you can see a twisted logic if you believed in British managed decline - BUT - the acceptance of the risible ‘Palestinian’ fairy story is on a different level.
That one was put about by our enemies.
Put about by people with whom we were at(cold) war!
Knowing it to be false, knowing it to be enemy propaganda, why did we ever supinely allow its propagation?
Given current events, I cannot but conclude it must be, at least in part, institutional antisemitism at the highest level.
What Gost in the Machine says about fooling people is sadly too true. However I will also point out the Soviet/communist - including all other communists including those who came after Marx and after the Soviets, everywhere, who promised to “March through the institutions” of the west : teaching schools - even teaching journalists and taking over that institution. It’s slow and long, but it indeed works, and is part of how we take them back.
Here in the UK it is known, acknowledged fact that the Blair government 1997 - 2010 introduced effective Left / Far Left governance into all our NGOs, our Quangos, our institutions, across the Civil Service, across Universities, across Education, across Health, across the Military, across the Police, across Local Government etc etc.
And then, we had 14 FOURTEEN years of so-called 'Conservative' government where they reversed nothing, introduced no equivalent right-of-centre persons - in fact they doubled down on what Blair had started.
And now my country is in the utter mess it's in.
So, whilst your cure is correct as described, the only place I see it in action is in the USA, and even there 'they' managed to obstruct Trump's first term objectives and almost certainly interfered with the following election.
And look at how they came after him with lawfare
Fortunately for America and the world, he won, but 'they' are doing the same thing with Marine le Pen in France, the same thing with the AfD in Germany and the same thing, (God help us), with Nigel Farage and Reform in the UK.
So the cure may be obvious, but the implementation thereof is not.
I simply cannot remotely imagine the world of the UK 1980s tolerating ANY of the rampant anti semitism we see on our streets, blatant and ignored by our police, the hate marches, the crime levels, the wokery, the reverse racism, the trans issues - I sometimes wonder if I have literally gone mad or have been transported to a parallel universe!
However, I believe I am in the majority, I believe my views are not 'Far Right' but rather basic common sense, and most of all I know I shall not 'go gently into that good night . . .' but rather I shall 'rage against the dying of the light . . .' for as long as I have - because Israel and the West genuinely are the light of civilisation and are worth fighting for. It is very frustrating that Israel demonstrates this whereas the leadership of Western Europe seems determined to supinely accept its fate.
You may find the following article of interest; I hope so, I thought it was illuminating and brilliant:
I'm Jewish and even I know the word is older than 1967. C'mon man.
Etymology
The term "Palestine" (in Latin, Palæstina) comes via ancient Greek from a Semitic toponym for the general area dating back to the late second millennium BCE, a reflex of which is also to be found in the Biblical ethnonym Philistines. The term "Palestine" has been used to refer to the area at the southeast corner of the Mediterranean Sea beside Syria. In the 5th century BCE, in his work The Histories, Herodotus used the term to describe a "district of Syria, called Palaistine" in which Phoenicians interacted with other maritime peoples.
Did ANY "Arab" `ask´ what "to be done" with the nearly one million Jews expelled in 1948/49 from Yemen, Iraq, Libya, Algeria, Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Saudi-Arabia, Syria etc. where they had mostly lived for (hundreds of) thousands of years ?!? WHAT had they DONE to deserve that ? Did they rape, slaughter, terrorize, bomb like the so-called "Palestinians" ? NO ! but they were expelled completely with NO "mercy" ! WHY is always Israel asked for "mercy", for "a plan" for these oh so innocent Arabs - but Arabs NEVER get asked or DEMANDED to LIVE in PEACE with Jews ?!?
FYI, while I largely agree with you, to keep facts straight, there were Jews/organized Jewish groups who bombed a hotel in Jerusalem in the 1930’s or ‘40’s (sorry can’t remember exactly at the moment.) But they fought to get their actual homeland back as the Nazis and their Arab Allies were committing actual genocide on them or trying to, and of course there was conflict before the Balfour Declaration because of basically the same sort of thing: the Quaran commands Muslims to kill all Jews eventually (in later parts, in earlier parts all Jews and Christians, being of the abrahamic faiths, were to be second class citizens and pay extra taxes and submit themselves completely to Islamic rule and not proletize.) Islam believes it has a duty to conquer the world, convert or kill or “use” (enslave) everyone who isn’t Muslim, and punish those who are the “wrong” kind of Muslims, and any territory they conquered is theirs forever regardless of anything else.
Why is it his job to suggest that? The Arabs in Israel are already full citizens and have a better life than anywhere but maybe the gulf states if you’re their citizen (90% of their residents are _not_).
The Palestinians refused an independent state at least six times or more. Why don’t you ask them why they insist on a genocide of Jews from Israel rather than a peaceful state?
Thanks for the informative essay, Dr. Firester!

In part, we stop using their dictionary and return ourselves to the place of normalcy: https://www.algemeiner.com/2025/12/05/stop-letting-israels-enemies-write-the-dictionary/
You refuse to use it, you don’t donate to any organization that uses it, you don’t vote for a candidate that does.
Already done, done and done. I hope you’re right, and that there’s a critical mass who understand and are willing to do same.
