I think this is an excellent exploration of today's conflict and some of the factors that make it so confusing. Our minds have certain categories and perspectives that can blind us to reality. The conflict between universalism and particularism may pass over the heads of most people, but it is a keystone understanding the biases that confound us. Same with presenting.
But we do need to keep trying to understand these cognitive complexities and dissonances, sonI greatly appreciate this effort, and your whole body of work. Let's all keep at the task and perhaps society will at some point offer us an opening by which we can help it moderate and become at least somewhat more thoughtful and rational. We just need to not hold our breaths, or our writing, until that happens.
