You could say Khamenei was Pasteurized!

While morons were marching in western streets calling to globalize the intifada, yiddishe kops were busy planning the Iranian mullahs' demise. Good for Jewish heads! But there is still work to be done in the immediate neighbourhood - Gaza, Judea and Samaria, whence come the murderous crazed and sexually depraved Palestinian assassins. Remember, as both the Bible and Hamlet's father's ghost would say.

A Persian friend of mine has been told that the new Ayatollah in waiting just got killed in an airstrike.

Let’s be clear: this wasn’t about revenge. It was about strategic inevitability. Khamenei wasn’t a ceremonial monarch — he was the architect of repression, terror financing, proxy wars, and ideological jihad. When a regime’s supreme authority exports violence for decades, he becomes a lawful node in the conflict architecture. Israel crossed a Rubicon because it concluded deterrence had expired. You can debate the risk. You can debate escalation. But you cannot pretend the status quo was stable. This was a calculated gamble that removing the head might destabilize the body. History will judge the outcome. For now, the era of untouchable ayatollahs is over.

Thank you for the excellent insight.

For over 40 years, the evil Iranian regime has called for the destruction of Israel and America; investing in jihadist proxy armies as a ring of fire around Israel, been responsible for worldwide terror attacks and suppressed / murdered its own people.

Finally, the regime gets what it deserves and people like Antonio Guterres, UN head and Kier Starmer the UK Prime Minister and many other so called wise educated people, express their disgust at this attempt to rid the world of evil.

These latter people are not fit to hold office.

This was a terrific analysis and great insight into how the Israeli (and American) intelligence works.

Has the opposition coalesced enough to have certain persons/entities that can “take over”? Is there someone like Pahlavi who can unite the various ethnic and social groups, i.e. Persians, Kurds, Sunnis, etc?

I have been ranting about the ability of the opposition to defend themselves. During the overwhelming protests of a couple of months ago, the IRGC and the Basij were just gunning the protestors down like sitting ducks. If the protesters can fight back, kill some of the IRGC rank and file, the defections will come much quicker. They need some firepower.

Do we think that over the last few months that the CIA and Mossad have been getting arms to the opposition?

It is certainly an interesting boast that Israel has assassinated (killed) more people than any other country since WWII. I wonder how the beating heart of Judaism considers such action moral while violating again and again its own morality.

That’s the rub. The Talmud says “rise early and kill those who would kill you”. Yes, unfortunately this sounds like a boast but it isn’t. It is a reality that we Jews can now live with since we have a homeland and refuge. This doctrine of “preemptive action” was written during the Roman occupation over 2,000 years ago. Once one understands that this is a case of self-preservation and is an aggressive defense, the moral implications are much clearer.
